The food here is good. It’s a deli-style place where the food is behind a glass window and you can choose what you want. They reheat it for you. The breads are made fresh and were very good. I really enjoyed my sag aloo and roti. The onion bhajis were surprisingly spicy so I wasn’t a huge fan. This place is always busy, and takeaway is popular. The menu options are pretty good, with a good variety of dhals and curries. Takeaway portion sizes are average and prices are good.

My favourite Indian /Pakistani restaurant(food wise) in London and I have been to ALOT of Indian restaurants. The place is run by a friendly Afghan family and has a BYO policy. Serves a variety of starters and mains with a wider choice of vegetarian dishes than most. My favorites are the chapali kebabs(so named ’cause they look like slippers), the lamb koftas, the saag paneer and dal. It’s a great little ‘dhaba’.

Amazing takeaway food. Nan bread cooked fresh to order. Canteen style curries, gorgeous rice and doesn’t break the bank. My dad used to stop here and get me Chicken Tikka Rolls back in the late 1990’s when I was at school/college. It made me fall in love with the place and I have taken friends here and even found friends in here ordering the delicious food. One of the best in London, one of two canteen style must-eat Indian food shops on Tooting’s curry mile. You wont be disappointed here. Open late and 2 mins walk from Tooting Bec station and cash machines.
