One of the worst breakfasts I’ve ever had. Vegetarian was supposed to have hash browns but came with greasy chips as they’d run out(but not told me). Wasn’t asked how I wanted eggs done(fried solid & greasy). Wasn’t asked about white/brown toast, just given cheapest white bread with greasy butter/margarine. Two stars rather than one as I got a small discount on complaining. But very poor.

Had a full English here. Full is a bit of a bold description for the breakfast I got. Sausages were the worst I’ve had in a few years. Service is good and the breakfast was only a fiver so I guess you get what you pay for.

My sister who really really really loves English food was visiting from California gave me the reason I wasn’t really looking for to try this place. Despite the fact that I live two blocks away and literally walk past it every day I had no desire to go in. I have very good instincts. On the positive side, the service was very friendly. And yes, they do have outdoor tables. However, a big GROSS is all I can say for the food. Walk across the street and get good Lebanese instead!

I’m not doubting the previous reviewer’s comments, but perhaps the situation changed drastically during the intervening years. Regardless, I’m very aware of cleanliness(or the lack thereof) and everything looked very clean when we had dinner there twice(two weeks ago tonight and then a few nights later). We each ordered a falafel wrap both times and it was very tasty, plus the workers were very friendly. We also enjoyed sitting at an outdoor table.

I like delis. I saw the sign and popped in here, expecting to find a counter full of nice yummy food. Instead I found raw chicken kebabs sitting next to cooked food. Seriously guys, that’s basic food hygiene!
