Winner winner chicken dinner. There a new joint in town. New in Tottenham at the Old Fire Station is Chickent0wn
Got the whole lot. Lock stock f*ckin lot. The ‘Banquet’: 12 pieces of chicken; Rosemary, SAS (bbq style) and original. All damn meaty and very less greasy than your usual. All damn tasty though. SAS a personal fav with that spice. And with ALL the sides (as much chips as you could shake a stick at)… Sweet potato and the Mac ‘n’ Cheese were
With Beavertown beer Gamma Ray and a great house red it was also nice to see that the sauces were firmly on each table. Lather those chicken up!

Upmarket fried chicken, you say? 10 minutes from my house? Do go on…
Chicken Town is a great social enterprise as well as a purveyor of great food. We had two types of the fried chicken and sides, I like the spicy crumb (my friend the regular). The portions are large, sides are good — although the chips aren’t the most crunchy. Two portions of chicken and two sides is good enough for me, although if I were feeling a little greedier there’s three and three for not much more.
The location is great, making use of the former firehouse on Tottenham Green, conveniently located to do cut-price healthy (and tasty) fried chicken for the school and college kids nearby. It is family friendly (and there some frustratingly loud kids there when we went, but oh well) but has a great selection of alcoholic drinks, and some good non-alcoholic to boot.
