I’m 34, so this place isn’t really for me. 10 years ago maybe. But at my age I need a cloakroom, space to actually breathe and bar staff don’t have an attitude (sexy though it might be). The main problem with this place is that it’s a glorified corridor. Which means you always feel like you’re in the way. Either that or it’s just me being a stuffy grumpy 30 something gayer who wishes he was ten years younger.

Circa, from Latin, meaning «around» or meaning «approximately» in the English language, usually referring to a date. I’m not sure the inspiration behind the name however perhaps one might hang «around» until you find a date or your date arrives. During the time you can experience some pretty good cocktails, just not quickly. The staff is friendly and from my two experiences here I’ve found the place to have a bit of charm. The Disco Ball like DJ booth is my favorite design feature of the bar. It just adds some kitch to the place. Natalie P. was correct when referring to the toilets being in a dungeon… downright dodgy. The space outside is quite limited to a few seats located on the sidewalk. The prices seem average and if you’re in SoHo it’s a good place to meet a friend for a drink.
London has a vast amount of bars and Circa has it’s charm. If you’re in the neighborhood and thirsty, stop in and enjoy y’all.

My friend and I popped in here the other week before going for a meal to grab a quick drink — and fortunately it was happy hour so cocktails were called for yay!
We were quick to be served but not served quickly, if you get what I mean, and although the bartender was friendly, the whole process was frustrating as the cocktails were expensive and not that good /​nice tasting and you had to spend £10 minimum which I think is totally ridiculous in this day and age!
The toilets in a dungeon type place down some really dangerous and rickety stairs are extremely hot and make you feel like you’ll pass out!
Unimpressive though sure it’s livelier and maybe better later in the evenings but don’t think I’ll bother to find that out!

I would give this place a 3.5 since the bartenders were hot stuff. the over flooded bathroom in the dungeon is NAGL, not to mention that there were only 2 stalls in each bathroom. drinks are alright, they serve drinks from wine to champagne to simple mixers. Fun upbeat music and hot gay boys. The location is mediocre, but overall, can come again with fun friends!
