Club Bar & Dining

We only went here because we were given free drinks vouchers but it was nice enough to stay for some food and more drinks. The staff were friendly and professional and we really felt like we were being looked after.
There’s not too much space to sit upstairs because it seemed to get busy pretty fast but downstairs had plenty of room and has more of a club feel which was cool.
I wasn’t particularly happy with the service charge on buying drinks when ordering AT THE BAR. I would have been quite happy to help myself to a bottled beer and open it myself to save the £1.75 that I had to par for the barman to do it for me.

Props to the bar staff, they know how to mix a tremendous cocktail. My Berry Brandy was perfectly balanced and delicious. It was so good I had another and although it was somewhat stronger (I won’t complain there) it was still balanced well. I sampled many of my friends cocktails and they were all excellent.
The service was also good. We had a little blonde waitress who was incredibly efficient and attentive and clearly knowledgeable about her role. The décor of dark wood and open kitchen has a warm, relaxing effect that stalls the thought of checking the time. You could easily lose a few hours in this place. Downstairs has the feel of a high class private party venue. I would certainly consider hiring the space for my own parties.
Although I haven’t eaten here yet, I’d be willing to try after so far enjoying the décor, drinks and service.

I’ve heard the food is pretty decent here, but I’ve only popped by for a start-​of-​the-​night a drink or two and don’t really get the appeal… It feels a bit like a New York bar but without glamour or edge (at least one of the two would be helpful). The drinking crowd — on the nights I’ve been here — is very much after-​work office party.

So I went to The Club Bar and Dining last night for some going-​away drinks, and it was pretty good! Just five minutes walk from Piccadilly Circus Tube Station, it’s a great meeting place for drinks, dinner or both!
There were lots of suits pouring in after work to drink their way through the extensive beer, wine and cocktail selection. And what a selection of cocktails — fairly reasonably priced at around £9 –but using top shelf liquers and some tasty (and edible!) garnishes.
They also have a gorgeous dining room in the front section, and serves delicious bar snacks — antipasto and the like. There’s another bar in the basement, with dim lighting and dark banquets, great for groups or a date!

Very swanky club, beautifully decorated downstairs. Nice leather sofas, gas fire, low level lighting. Perfect for a romantic date. Three drinks cost £13 though, two beers and a mixer so don’t go there if you want to save money. Didn’t try the restaurant upstairs but looked nice and they weren’t full.

The Club Bar & Dining is a modern restaurant which is perfect for people looking for a fairly priced cooked meal and drink, in a relaxed and stylish setting. When I first entered the place it had a cool ambience and classy feel to it. It was very busy but the bar did have something that made it very chilled out. I often go out in Soho and I thought the atmosphere in side was terrific. I only popped in for lunch with a friend the other day but feel that it would be great not only for a light lunch but I think it would be good particularly in the evenings. And will definitely be dragging my boyfriend out to the place soon. The staff are friendly, efficient and manage to be attentive when serving us. I was really impressed with the menu, with some good specials and seafood dishes which I liked the most. Plus the drinks were excellent and affordable. Overall, The Club Bar and Dining is well worth a visit and I will be definitely going back.
