Cookies and Cream sell a huge range of sweet treats from chocolate eclairs, short breads, chocolate cornflake cakes, fruit pastries and numerous types of cookies amongst many more. They also make savoury sandwiches in the café fresh and serve teas and coffee.
On the few times I’ve ventured in to Cookies and Cream the cakes have been pretty average (nothing compared to something my mum could rustle up!) and the fact that their window display of rather ambitiously designed large cakes has been melting and gathering dust in the window for the past three months at least worries me!
if they can’t maintain and look after their window display then it makes you wonder what else they aren’t looking after?!
Despite this I have found myself wandering in when i need a sugar fix on the way back from work as it stays open until late. I’ve been in at 11pm before and they’re have still been plenty of locals relaxing in here. I wish they would take more care of this place because if they kept it clean I would probably be in here a lot more often.
