To be honest I’m a sucker for ‘sucre’. Hihi. I love many things with sugar. Having said that, some persons may not appreciate much sweetness. Expect a lot of sweetness when you eat/drink somethin at this place. The cookie & dough milkshake I took here was something straight out of heaven. I really loved it. My girl thought it was too sweat, but not me ;-). I loved it so much. Dang. Oh how I wish this place had a Dutch department.

If there were more stars I’d give them!!! Whether you have dietary restrictions or just a sweet tooth this is THE place to go in Camden! Treats are great and the staff is adorable. My kiddos FREAKOUT when they earn a trip and will do ANYTHING for the chance to have a delicious shake or a cookie. Their allergies make it hard to have goodies like this and this place is a GEM. I had a donut for the first time and it was spongy, sweet and delicious. Well done C&S!

Cookies and Scream is perfection. We go to the Camden Market about once a month to grab lunch, and we always finish it off by going to Cookies and Scream. We’ve probably tried everything on the menu, and have loved it all. They use the posh vegan ice cream in their shakes, Booja Booja which we are obsessed with. We’re vegans, but I brought my omni family here when they visited and they couldn’t stop talking about it for the rest of the trip. Don’t pay attention to any reviews less than 5 stars. Cookies and Scream can’t be any better than it is. Thanks so much for what you do!

Anyone could appreciate how good this place is, but for someone like me that can’t have gluten or dairy, it’s amazing. I had the ice cream sandwich and could not believe I wasn’t eating real ice cream. So creamy and thick, I wished I had the room to try one of their shakes too! Definitely recommend coming here. Camden Town is a lively funky area that reminds me of the Haight Ashbury in San Francisco. Tip: it’s tucked away inside next to Honest Burger. Just a small counter in front if you’re lucky enough to grab a seat but more seating in the little«mall» to the left of the counter.

Delicious ice cream cookie sandwich! They have fantastic gluten-free options that you really won’t believe are gluten free. This is absolutely one of the best dessert options in Camden. I do wish they had different options for ice cream flavors, but it’s still delicious and for just £3 you really can’t go wrong here!

As a wannabe vegan vegetarian, cookies and scream really appealed to me. I often make vegan cakes and cookies and know that they can be just as good as, if not better than, the real thing. Cookies and Scream is a vegan coffee kiosk. I hoped it would be like a regular coffee shop which just made its baked goods without eggs or dairy. I was a little bit surprised to find what seemed to be a post-punk kitchen, complete with bakers with attitude. There are a few seats. I sat down whilst deciding what coffee and cake to get. Unfortunately, all the options were peanut-butter based. I love peanut butter, but this felt a little too excessive. Peanut butter cookies, pies, brownies, I would have liked something a little less rich. I opted for the soya cappuccino and the chocolate doughnut. The cappuccino was way too hot and tasted slightly burnt. The chocolate icing on the doughnut was way too sweet and didn’t taste like real chocolate. I felt a little nauseated after this afternoon snack and don’t feel in any great rush to go back. Vegan food is great. Cookies and Scream is a little bit disappointing though.

Great variety of decadent vegan shakes and baked goods(cookies, pies, brownies, and cookie ice cream sandwiches). Best vegan milkshakes; thick and delicious. I also tried their peanut butter chocolate chip cookie which was amazing.

Food looked good and its great its all vegan but the girls working in there 8⁄16 were not friendly at all. Just wanted a picture of them for a collage with the sign for a vegan blog and food share Instagram tags and all three were very snobbish about it and said they«dont like taking pictures for people» even after i told them what it was for. Whatever. I ended up not buying anything or promoting the shop because the girls there were a real buzz kill for what looked like it could be a really cool spot. Hire some cool people and ditch the rude snobs who arent NEARLY attractive enough to pull off the whole bad attitude thing, its a real turn off.

I tried the coffee milkshake which was refreshing but nothing amazing and a bit pricey for the size. The chocolate chip cookie was good but not very flavourful. Also tried a bit of my friends brownie which was way to thick and left me really thirsty. I personally think this place is way too hyped but if you’re in Camden it’s worth trying

Review from vegan blog: I scream, you scream, we all scream for Cookies and Scream, because it’s just that good! I had this spot on my list for must-visit vegan spots in London and it was reconfirmed when my London-based friend said how delicious it was. I went to the Camden Lock Market after my slight disappointment at Borough Market for the lack of vegan options. I shuffled around in the food tent area for a while searching for Cookies and Scream until I finally had to ask for help. Turns out it’s actually tucked away inside, with a permanent stake in a small building called the Dingwalls gallery area. This dessert bar is not only vegan, but also gluten-free! When I discovered them I realized I wasn’t alone in my excitement. The other customers were equally overwhelmed by the looks of the freshly baked, heavenly treats for sale. The staff works in a tiny kitchen area right behind the counter and I commend them for working wonders in such small quarters. I ordered a Chico Cookie, which was a large peanut butter cookie with chocolate chips. It was super moist, gooey, and rich. I greedily also ordered a liquid dessert, the Cookie Dough Balls Shake thanks to a tip from Fat Gay Vegan and got a Gosh! Brownie to-go, which of course lasted a total of four hours post-visit. As I was drinking my shake all I could think was how unhealthy it must be because of how incredibly sweet and creamy it was, and I got a kick out of the«low-fat» label on the menu board. The huge chunks of cookie dough made it a more exciting and indulgent treat. Excluding my minor stomachache from all the(unrefined) sugar, my only complaint was that the baked goods were a little too moist and fell apart pretty easily. It was worth it, whatever damage Cookies and Scream did to my diet. Thank you for the delightful desserts, I will miss you back in the states!

I have been following cookies and scream on Instagram for such a long time waiting for the day that I finally get to try it and today was the day! So amazing and everything I thought it would be. I had the peanut butter chocolate chip cookie with a scoop of icecream on top and the peanut butter and jelly cookie(no photo). I’d recommend this place to anyone, even if you aren’t gluten free or vegan.

Oh my god! This was just simply amazing! Best vegan cookies and ice cream I’ve had. Really cozy location as well in Camden Lock Place(lots of nice street food and cute shops). Recommending this to anyone going to London, vegan or not this is as good as it gets!

I go out of my way to come here whenever I’m in London. I’d like to say I’ve tried just about everything on the menu, but every time I go, it seems they’ve tried making something new! The milkshakes are delicious and I highly recommend the ice cream sandwich cookies! It’s probably worth mentioning that everything on the menu is vegan and gluten free :)

There are plenty of options in London when it comes to specific dietary requirements, but rarely do you find a place that is gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan AND abso-freakin-lutely delicious! This is the place to take any and all visitors with food allergies — except maybe nut allergies, because the peanut butter cookies are to die for and you don’t need that on your conscience… I’m(thankfully) not anything intolerant so was slightly apprehensive about the concept, but this place was great, and my lactose-intolerant sister was stoked to finally drink a thickshake again. I will say that you can feel the difference in texture between a regular flour-filled cookie and these gluten-free options, but the taste is just right!

Upon my wee visit to London I knew I just HAD to visit Cookies & Scream… I had heard so many good things & even though I am not vegan(or luckily gluten-intolerant) I am big fan of vegan desserts/bakes and always wanting to try more when possible as usually(in my opinion) they taste much better than their veggie cakey bakey cousins… controversial? Moi?! I am only deducting a star(it would be half if t’was possible) because I was under the impression this was an actual café when in fact it is more of a permanent(?) stall inside Camden Market. So I was a bit sad that myself & my friend couldn’t easily just sit & stuff our faces with vegan sweet delights until the almonds/soya beans come home *sigh* There are a few seats(4?) at the counter but my friend is currently heavily pregnant so I did not want to make her perch on a wee high chair surrounded by hungry sweet-toothed vegans whilst I gobbled cookies & ice cream; that would be mean. So I bought one of their delicious sounding Cookie Scream Sandwich(2 choc chip cookie ‘buns’ if you like with a ‘burger’ filling of delicious and THE most tastiest vegan ice-cream ever — YUM) to flee as we used to say in Coffee Republic. Even though I had to stand against a wall amongst the locals/tourists of Camden Market that day in the boiling sun I enjoyed this C&S sweet delight. I foolishly had eyes-bigger-than-my-belly(as my Mum & Dad used to say) and couldn’t finish it all but it was divine. Next time I am in that London again I will most definitely return as their shakes & brownies also look stupendously tasty. Uh. Cookies & Scream PLEASE venture North to Glasgow & set up stall/shop here! PLEASE! For the animals and gluten-intolerant people of Glasgow! Dae it! Thank you :-)

Well if it was possible to give 6 stars or even 7 I would. If you are vegan, lactose intolerant or can’t eat gluten then you MUST visit these guys, even if your not this is a must visit place to sample what can only be described as a bite of heaven and I’m not even religious. Baked goods, cookies, brownies. Then they have their ice cream, milkshakes and coffees. Less is more most defiantly applies here. The service was impeccable, we did have a small wait but it was worth every minute. I would recommend everyone to try them out and I will most certainly be back for more every time i am in London.

OMGOSH!!! What can I say??? This place I happened to stumble upon as I exited Honest Burger in Camden, and BAM I was hit with the words Gluten Free, Dairy Free… SOLD!!! Those words are a rare treat for me, especially when they are above the most amazing looking cookies, and cakes ever! The shop is quite small. Just a kitchen and serving bench, so they offer a few chairs for eat in, but its a mostly take-away style. The cookie are huge. Bigger than my hand in most cases, and the flavours, OH man– peanut butter, peanut butter and jelly, and chocolate chunks, just to name a few. We settled on Peanut Butter, and decided to share, as we had just fed our faces on honest burger, immediately before. If you have the cookies as eat-in, you get the choice to have it heated slightly and served with cream. We had ours as take-away and the heat from the sun softened the cookie, and oh man oh man, it was soo delicious. The peanut flavour was real, and soo evident. And all for only £2. BARGIN! They do shakes, and a whole wide varitey of other delicious treats. And I will definitely be back for more.

I really enjoyed my awesomely delicious peanut butter milkshake. Do you know how weird it is for me to type that? I’m lactose intolerant, so I haven’t had a milkshake in… oh, about 6 years. So typing that feels about as weird as if I was writing a review of eating an elephant steak. This place was so cute, and everything looked so good, that I regretted having had lunch because I wanted to try all of the things. The chocolate doughnuts dipped in chocolate that passers-by kept buying by the bagful. The cookies. The little cake thingies with berries in them. Yes, ALL of the things. But I settled for a milkshake, and that made me soo happy!
