Sorry to disappoint but this pub closed down shortly after the smoking ban. It is a shame as it used to be the busiest with people clambering in before going to the upstairs nightclub, which is also now shut.
The Crown used to show sports, have cheap drinks, fruit machines, pool tables, it boxes and more. There was also this weird thing with the toilets that had pebbledashing on the urinal wall. Like proper pebbles, don’t think I will ever see that again.
This place is closed. Don’t try to go there. It will be a disappointment.
