I hate getting my haircut. This is probably my 6th or 7th review of a barber shop in London as I bounce around from place to place and try to find a new ‘go-to’ barber near my new house in North London(very North). Very unassuming barber, modern looking without looking pretentious(let’s face it, many hairdressers try too hard to look trendy and you pay for the privilege) and the guys in there cutting hair are simple down-to-earth guys. It is a walk-in system and I have never had to wait long. The last time I had to wait was because one of the guys was dusting the coffee table and shelf — take your time mate, love to see you are taking pride in the place! This is it, my new go-to, and it only costs me a tenner each time. One tip — they only accept cash, so bring folding money, not the plastic kind

Cheap & cheerful old school barbers opposite Broomfield Park in Palmers Green. I pay £9−10 for a haircut there, never had any complaints! Waiting time is not unreasonable and they have Sky Sports on TV and loads of sports /hi-fi & car magazines to keep the waiting clients amused.
