Good bagels and a nice range of other bits and pieces.
A little harder than those from the brick lane ones, and you aren’t able to get hot fillings it seems but they do make them in house and fresh sandwiches are available from the fridges.
Some of the staff can be a bit short, but on the whole they’re friendly enough. They’ve got tables now to make it a little more café style but there are some things (mostly beef related) that they don’t allow to be eaten in store.
Most of their pastries look good and the ones that I’ve tried are tasty if a little stodgy. Not being close to a tube station, I don’t visit that often but if given the chance, they’re one of the better bakeries out there.

Excellent bagels! Better than Park Patisserie, not as good as Beigel Bake in Brick Lane which has the best in London, and which are actually a lot cheaper too.
Nice thing about this place is that they have a large variety of pastries and bread, as well as several big coolers with prepared sandwiches, egg salad, cream cheese, etc., and they don’t run out of bread in the late afternoon like some bakeries.
Wish I could pay with a car for transactions under 10 pounds though. I don’t get why that’s such a problem everywhere. I mean, ffs, just charge me the extra 20p for the transactions costs or whatever, don’t make me waste 15 minutes of my time walking to a nearby ATM.

I’m moving from San Francisco to London (where I grew up) and these bagels are the only thing quelling my fears of life without burritos. Yum.

Popped into Daniel’s and grabbed a toasted bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese. They toasted the bagel on a Sandwich maker which I found interesting. The bagel was tasty and fresh. This place is more of a grab and go bakery. Their breads looked much better than those I saw at the local super market.

I always make a stop here when I am in London. Daniels is a kosher bagel shop that also offers various pastries, croissants and cookies. This is a no frills shop in Golders Green and the bagels are the real deal. I find that they are best eaten fresh or toasted to a rich golden color and served with a butter spread (as opposed to cream cheese). I typically buy about fifty mini plain bagels and pack them up to bring back to the states (not ideal but certainly beats any bagels I’ve had in the west coast).

GREAT bagels. Or, indeed, beigels, baigels or however the hell you spell it.
Having married into a Jewish family, over the last 14 years I’ve tried what appears to be every bagel offering across London. While I will always have a soft spot for the great value of Brick Lane, having Daniel’s as my local is a VERY GOOD THING INDEED. Generous bagels, well-​cooked and properly flavoured. In fact I’ve just had half a poppy seed one in classic salmon-​and-​cream-​cheese fashion for breakfast. I believe the expression du jour is nom. I can also confirm the new arrival — Cinnamon & Raisin — makes for a fine breakfast dessert. Look, it’s not blatant piggery: it’s essential Qype research

Probably the best Jewish bakery in the whole of London. It’s got everything you could want and the bagels are just indescribably good. It’s also nice to know that nothing changes — there is still always the yummy little strip of uncooked dough at the bottom of every chollah (if you’ve had one, you know what i’m talking about…)
