Divina Café is a small unassuming restaurant that serves an authentic Italian meal experience as you might expect to find in Italy. The menu offers a variety of pasta dishes(including a regularly updated special) salads and sandwiches. The arrabiata and spaghetti al pesto are delicious and abundant. Owner Max will happily talk to you all day about English and Italian football, especially his beloved Roma. However, the café appears to attract a varied clientele mostly consisting of people working in and around Stamford Brook. Overall this is a great find where for a reasonable price you can have a typical Italian lunch experience including a nice bowl of pasta, some bread and a glass of wine for less than 10 pounds.

As you would expect from a café and a bit more. Illy coffee, Sandwiches(ciabatta, baguettes, rolls and baps), fresh salads, jacket potatoes, pasta and patisserie. It is this last bit I’ll make special mention to. They have a small selection of it but its quite good and it’s cheap. For instance, a raspberry cheesecake at £2.50 it’s soft and creamy, with a crunchy base. They also sell Italian biscuits and panetone(for the christmas holidays) and other Italian delicacies. Staff in general were friendly but they made a mistake with my coffee and when I corrected the lady she didn’t like it. On my way to Hammersmith I am usually tempted by their desserts but I try and stop myself, not only to avoid calories but also bad humour.
