D’s Beauty Parlour

I would not recommend this beauty parlour to anyone, if you can even call it a beauty parlour. It is a cramped, undignified grubby room, which you do not expect from the professional looking website.
I booked to have a cartilage piercing and when I turned up they said that the piercer would not be there for another hour. Therefore another slot was booked and I was informed I would receive £10 off the piercing.
When I turned up for the second time for the piercing I had to wait for more than 15minutes to be seen. I was then informed that she was not going to honour her agreement of £10 off and instead would only give me 10% off. She informed me this was a mistake her employee had made due to a language barrier, an unexceptable excuse. The measly discount did not even cover the cost of the first wasted journey!
Since then I have had nothing but problems with my piercing, so I seeked advice from 2 experts who were both mortified at her methods. Firstly the placing of my piercing was incorrect — likely to be due to her lack of knowledge and also not using a clamp. Secondly the bar she inserted was not long enough to allow for swelling, consequently my ear has now blister. Thirdly, I have been informed she did not use the appropriate aseptic technique.
As a result of this I have wasted £20, had to remove my piercing, and endure a lot of pain. I would not recommend anyone to visit this parlour.

Going to D’s for all of my essential beauty treatments for over TEN years. I must say having read some of the reviews on this site I am slightly concerned and very confused The customer service and attention to clients specific needs is fantastic and I often travel from to the city to Holloway to have all of my treatments done. I have always received first class service from D in person and leave feeling refreshed energised and looking great (which isn’t always easy :0) D’ S team offer a fantastic beauty experience and very affordable prices which is difficult given the challenging economic situation we find ourselves in.
I can’t rate this Beauty Parlour highly enough and I always reccommed D’s beauty parlour to family and friends. Well Done to D, Claire and the rest of your fantastic team. Keep up all the hard work and I’ll no doubt see you very soon !

We at Ds Beauty Parlour welcome everyone. We have unfortunatly had bad reviews from customers who have purchased promotional vouchers from the internet although the mojority have accepted our terms and conditions unfortunaltly we have had a few that have come in and tryed to dictate to us.

I love this place. Its small and quaint and the décor is to die for. With their chandalier and small chez longue the colours are calming and so is the atmosphere. The staff are so friendly and helpfull and there waxing skills are the best. All the staff work uniformed together. They have a wide range of beauty treatments. I just want to say a BIG thank you to the Manager who made my run up to my wedding perfect. My spray tan was so natural and my mum and my bridesmades to. all of our make up lasted the whole day and everyone commented on how lovely we all looked. I will be in when i come back from my honeymoon. Claire thanks for calming my nerves x
