Bob Marley once said «Open your eyes, look within. Are you satisfied with the life you’re living?» it’s fair to say that this quote is as deep as the love of reggae at Dub Vendor. Aside from their cool name, Dub Vendor is one of the best presented reggae music specialists in London. They also offer a very cool browsing experience and you half expect some sort of dreadlocked angel to emerge from between their record collection and offer you a slice of the giggle twig.
If you’re into making rasta pasta (note: pasta with added red, yellow and green peppers) while Peter Tosh wafts lazily over your speaker system, you must include Dub Vendor in your list of music shops. They’re dedicated to 8-​inch vinyl as well as CDs, DVDs and magazines. You’re welcome to listen before you buy in their record section in the back, which is minted with rare editions and white labels. Throughout history people have searched for ways to ‘get irie’, and Dub Vendor is one of them.
