Don’t go here… Okay, it’s in an airport and it’s going to be expensive, but there’s a Café Nero just a short walk away where the prices are a heck of a lot more decent. Getting a juice and a ham and cheese croissant cost nearly £10 which, having then gone and eaten said food, was definitely not worth it… Maybe if the sandwich had been heated it could have improved it but it was neither a good croissant or had a good filling… It was… adequate. If it had been less costly, then fine, but at that inflated cost, not good enough. Good thing I didn’t get a coffee as they seemed to be going out randomly, a couple of people walked away after having waited too long. They have their location down just right, being just after security, all new visitors to the airport will flock here. Seasoned travelers(who joined me just as I finished the food) were quick to show me to where I should have gone…

Oo-ee! I was very impressed with the Barista here and the coffee drinks available. I chose a Mugaccino, never having heard of one. The best I can describe it is like a flat white, but with no foam at all. However, as I do like a bit of foam, the Barista offered to make me a flat white instead, even though this drink isn’t on the menu. Now THAT is really tailoring your coffee to suit the customer. And with soya too! It was delicious, really delicious. The coffee machine is in full view of the public, so I could see that the Barista carried out a good cross-contamination prevention process before steaming the soya milk — and it was very reassuring to see this practice taking place. I was so delighted with my coffee that I really wanted another one, but I thought that four shots of espresso at that time of evening was probably a mistake, so I contented myself with just the one. I’ll be back next time though!

Great coffee with lots of choice and loads of seating. Friendly staff who know what they are doing. Impressed!

Great coffee — it is illy — but the stodgiest, most tasteless almond croissant I’ve ever eaten. Pricey too at £3.40 for a teacup-sized latte and £2.50 for the carbfest.
