Rolled into Fez before heading to the Apollo for a show, am so happy I did. The man running the dining floor was so kind and attentive. I decided on ordering from the set dinner menu– lamb sausage (Makanek) to start and chicken cous cous as my entrée. I also added an order of Kallaj to start– how can I resist cheese?!? Everything was very tasty– the sauce for the Makanek was so good I ran my Kallaj through it to help gobble it up and clean my plate. The portions of each item was plentiful and everything was hot, fresh and yummy.
And then the server (maybe the manager or owner, not sure) won my heart– he offered me the opportunity to have Baklava instead of the set dinner dessert– Baklava is my FAVORITE!!!
Amazing value, tasty food, friendly staff and also great décor and atmosphere– big win!
