Four Seasons Hotel

Although our recent trip to London involved a lot of family fun, our initial reason for the trip was due to a competition win via the Stylist/​Emerald Street magazine — which, alongside our meal at Tom’s Kitchen, included a night’s stay at the Canary Wharf Four Seasons.
Easy to find from the DLR station, the inside of this hotel is very impressive, with a large airy lobby and bar situated towards the rear. The reception is a little hard to spot from the entrance we took (near the car park, it seemed) but a friendly member of staff quickly took us over and made the front of house aware that we were there.
It took a little while to be checked in, but the many apologies — and first of many glasses of prosecco — made up for it. After being walked to the lift, we headed to the third floor. We were put up in a deluxe king with river view, and that is one impressive view! The room was beautiful, with the comfiest pillow and duvet I think I’ve ever slept with, and window seat, perfect for gazing dreamily at the view (with those extra glasses of prosecco, obviously!)
We had a few drinks at the bar while we were there, which we could never really afford if we had actually paid for the hotel, but it was a lovely little insight in to how the other half live!

I visited my boyfriend who was here for business. The room was very nice as was the service but the location was not ideal for tourists. Far from everything except the financial district. The in-​room dining was very nice. All the amenities were so expensive (but London is in general).
We ordered a car from the concierge to take us to Victoria so we can catch the Gatwick express. The car was over 20 minutes late and we would have missed our train, the last train. The hotel comped our car and had them take us all the way to the airport which was about an hour away. Excellent service.

If I could live here, I would. We had one night in London and had been spending an unusually large amount of time trying to book a hotel. My husband & I were traveling with our 15 y/​o son and finding a single room with two beds was proving to be quite difficult.
Until I picked up the phone & called the Four Seasons. Thank you, Luis, for answering!
Luis reserved a room for us and when we arrived, he was there to check us in. We happily upgraded to a wharf view and didn’t regret the additional pounds. The room was beautiful, and the view was perfect.
We were able to check in early and had a late checkout the next day. It was a bank holiday so the entire area wasn’t as busy as it typically would be. Lucky us. That meant we had what seemed like the entire staff of the Four Seasons waiting on us. The room was serviced at least twice while we were there and they left snacks and sodas for our son.
Everyone was helpful with restaurant and touring suggestions. My only regret is we were there for less than two days.
That night, after a crazy day touring London, my husband and I stopped by the bar for a drink. Of course, they had my very favorite champagne.
Our visit could not have been any better. Thank you for making my first visit to London exceptional!

Although one review states that this hotel seems like a monolithic office building, I cannot help but to state what I have noticed inside.
Michelle and I stayed for one week during our 2 weeks in the UK, and that one week was filled with so much happiness, as well as the following week in the remainder of the UK.
I can only wish that the 2^nd week had such a hotel everywhere!!!

Actually felt like I was staying in a 5 star hotel for once. Great location if you are working in Canary Wharf and great views. Stayed several in Canary Wharf and actually this time requested to go back here with my company as was the best.
Nice breakfast and staff excellent. If you choose one hotel in Canary Wharf then choose this.

This really is a great hotel. You’ll get prompt, professional service in the sumptuous environment and the rooms are very well kitted out.
The on site restaurant is excellent and the view from the rooms is great.
The downside is the price, but you do get the quality you pay for.

Gorgeous and again! Lovely landscape and authentic service! So much different from other London Hotels… Super duper swimming pool and gym and spa were more than usual imagination!!!

Actually felt like I was staying in a 5 star hotel for once. Reasonable sized rooms, very helpful staff, valet parking, next to the Clipper pier, good bar that stayed open for us until 3:30am (if a little pricey). Would go back again, but not at the rack rate.

My partner took me here to woo me back in the day, and it’s a very well equipped hotel, but it’s a bit corporate looking, clearly for business clients. I expected a bit more grandeur.

Has to be the worst Four Season I have ever stayed at.
Should be called One Season. The building is dull and looks from the inside like a banking hall.
Uninspired décor throughout, needs some work on it — corridors that smelt of stale cigarettes.
Reception staff were laughable, they struggled with English and thought everything was above them and wore dirty worn uniforms, The girl who answered the phone couldn’t speak properly and I had to repeat everything.
I could go on but I am bored already.
The pool was amazing — IT IS OWNED AND RUN BY VIRGIN ACTIVE — figures really, left to this hotel management and a dip in the Thames would be more appealing.
DO NO GO EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT PAYING — IT NOT WORTH IT

Has time stopped and made this my heaven?
Have I been really really that good of a girl to deserve all this?
All I have to say is, I am ready for my London town!

Le 4seasons le moins accompli que je connaisse.
Cependant, le service est (comme toujours) impeccable.
Les chambres bien équipées, et la cuisine délicieuse.
La vue depuis la chambre est exquise. Moi qui adore les window-​seat, là j’étais servi !
Excentré, cet hôtel est approprié pour une (très) courte durée, mais il y a mieux à Londres.

If I died and went to heaven and it looked like this place and I was treated as well, I’d be ecstatic. Four Season Canary Wharf, I love your deluxe rooms, I love your location, and I really love your floor to ceiling windows facing the Thames. Can I come back soon? Even better was
paid for my room thanks to their buy 10, get 1 free policy.

One of the nicest hotels in London. Situated next to the river and with stunning views if stay in the west wing. Service is perfect, staff always polite and ready to serve, food amazing.
