Absolutely the worst agency in town…
After hearing the countless nightmares from friends and acquaintances about the abysmal service and lack of professionalism from Foxton’s, it is my extreme displeasure to have had my own experience with them that through no fault of my own warrants this review.
My wife and I are currently leaving the flat we’ve had the displeasure of living in for the past year. The flat, itself, is quite nice: modern, clean, and ample space for two. The problems began when we had to have nearly all of the appliances replaced as well as every light fixture. Without question, there is an electrical problem with the building, but I digress.
Since we have made our intentions clear to vacate at the end of our tenancy, we have been bombarded with a barrage of phone calls, emails, and texts for viewings, inventory lists, move out dates etc. Nevermind the fact that all of this can be communicated between our current property manager and Fuxton’s (intentional misspelling). We had never received 24 hours notice of viewing requests, often just two hours ahead of time, and once they just showed up unannounced. Many times they would schedule one viewing and show up three times in a day. i work from home often so this is terribly disruptive. Also, calls would come as late at 21:30 and as early as 7:30. Who does this?
After speaking with their branch manager (?) he informed me that he would convey to the entire team that they would adhere to protocol. I am still getting three to five emails per day despite sending a cease and desist threatening a law suit for harassment.
I’ve tried to avoid using this agency at the advice of trusted people, but they seemed to have weaseled their way into my life… Where is the justice?! Might be time for some vigilantism.

These guys are terrible. I was selling my house and I came back one weekend when they had done viewings. The back door was broken. They refused to accept responsibility.
Not a responsible estate agent. Avoid these guys at all costs.
