Apart from the 45m wait everything was very nice. Number 4 is still my favourite. Service is quick and staff in friendly.

I do love love love Franco Manca, especially now I’ve discovered the best time to go and get a table… The pizza comes quick and is delicious — I definitely recommend sticking to their menu and not being adventurous and trying out one of their specials. The number 6 and number 4 are my favourites, and I highly recommend them. Although it is a very authentic Italian place to eat, it is a shame that they do charge a lot for a simple Aperol Spritz, £6.90 for a small glass! We thankfully asked before we ordered, so didn’t order one in the end! The great thing about Franco Manca is the quality, size and price of their pizzas. They are very well priced for fresh and delicious toppings and ingredients. If you go to a Pizza Express you know they aren’t using fresh ingredients, and for about £4-£5 more expensive. But at Franco Manca, you know exactly what you’re getting, and all for way under £10, ranging from £5-£8 for a pizza, it’s great!!! Definitely check out Franco Manca, but just make sure you don’t go at prime time as you won’t get a table… and annoyingly can’t book!

I’d give this between 3 – 3.5, but this might be down to the high expectations with which I came here. It was a nice, casual atmosphere — everything you’d really want from a pizza place, really. The price for the pizza was also very cheap, so you don’t have to worry about breaking the bank to have a fun meal with friends/family! I ordered the standard margherita and asked for artichokes as an extra topping. It wasn’t too bad and much better than most pizza chains out there, but I found the sauce a little plain and the crust a bit too strong to chew enjoyably. There are some other great pizza places serving amazing sourdough pizzas, but this one is a reliable choice if it’s nearby!

What a find! We were staying near Tower bridge and needed somewhere to eat. Unilocal sent us down a dingy side street and at the end of it we found Franco Manca. There was a queue out of the door but, lucky for us, a table for two was available immediately. We really liked the simplicity of the menu and winelist — and we also really liked the prices — really great prices. Of course, the proof is always in the eating and their pizzas were the business. The last pizza we ate was in Little Italy, NYC, and this one in Bermondsey was right up there. It was light and tasty with enough of the sourdough tang to keep things interesting. The wine was light and fruity and a perfect accompaniment. Not sure we will be telling too many people about Franco Manca, we don’t want to be at the back of the queue!

I have nothing too bad to say about this place. Our waiter was entertaining, we didn’t wait too long for the food, the pizzas were well-sized and well made and there was a good all-round vibe at the restaurant. It’s definitely a failsafe option.

Really loved the food. The pizza was delicious. The service was great. Cute little restaurant. Very busy. They did have enough servers. They took good care of us.

I had a very good margarita pizza here recently. I had some time to kill and decided to check out the menu. It seemed as though the prices were really reasonable and I’ve heard good reviews about this restaurant that I decided to check it out. The pizza was really good and filling and the house wine helped wash it down. The staff is really friendly and while I appreciate that they didn’t rush me out, I did have to ask for the bill. For pizza, it was nice but for Bermondsey Street, I’m not going to lie, there are many other restaurants I would visit before this one, but still, a fine establishment.

Pro: The pizza was really tasty and the service was fast and attentive. The pizzas are pretty decent size and well cooked. I would suggest the one with anchovies. My favorite! Small Cons: I didn’t like much the fact that you might have to share a table with strangers. If you go as a couple remember you might be sitting in a 4 people table with another couple and be so close that you end up hearing whatever they say.

It’s another one in the Franco Mana chain that started it’s small beginnings in Brixton. And it’s awesome. Sour dough based pizza(so it’s better for you right…) and a wood oven. What else do you need? House cured ham and sausage? Yes ok that would be good too and they have that. There is also specials to snack on such as burrata and other cured meats. Yum. Lots of vego options. There are 6 pizzas to chose from and they change seasonally. Anything with wild broccoli is amazing. The sausage/meat special is seriously good. My favourite thing about this place is that the most expensive wine is under £20 pounds. Yes you heard correct. It’s all bio and organic and really goddamn good. GOTHERE.

Excellent pizza! Perfectly crispy/doughy crust, flavorful sauce & balanced toppings. Great dessert, great wine, and friendly staff. Our wait was minimal, and well worth it. I didn’t realize this restaurant had multiple locations, but it was good enough that I want them to open in New York so I can enjoy this pizza all of the time.

The Bermondsey street location just opened and it is as popular as the other locations around London. Expect to wait at least 30 min if you arrive during peak dinner time or over the weekend. They offer delicious pizza that Italians would appreciate. They keep it to the basics with their selection of 6 pizzas. They also have specials written on a chalkboard which are worth trying. I always go for the #5 which is the Napoli pizza. Love me some anchovies. I ordered the No Logo Lager because beer and pizza go so well together. The staff is warm and friendly. This is a cool, affordable, modern restaurant in a lovely area and I will definitely be back here.
