This must be the tiniest branch of Gail’s in the whole of London, but they manage to squeeze in plenty of their delicious salads, sandwiches and cakes. Staff seemed exhausted — two girls cramped into a tight space, can’t be much fun — and service was a bit reluctant and not in keeping with their pricing — even Starbucks is more friendly!

Convenient stop for coffee & pastry. Loved their sour cherry & chocolate scones.

Adorable little corner coffee shop in a very convenient location, right outside the tube station and on the way to the museum trinity, with friendly and responsive staff. I’ve only used this to pick up a quick coffee on occasion, but I adore the flat whites they make here: Very creamy, great flavour and a good size. I like the fact this is just a little shop, it means that you don’t usually get a massive queue, it’s easy to pop into and out of(without having to walk past loads of tables, navigate children and tourists and all that hassle), and you get served reallyquickly. So it’s fantastic for a quick beverage on the go. The cakes and other treats look delicious, but I can’t comment on them as I just haven’t tried them.

Don’t waste your time here. Go to Paul next door instead. Poorer customer service, less variety and more expensive than Paul next door.

Fantastic little café-like bakery, they offer a great choice of cakes and baked stuff. The thing I love the most is their apple pie with its muffin like shape! Carrot cake is fantastic too, a special mention is to their raspberry cake and(I could go on forever) I would have taken a star off for their bread which is not up the standard of other stuff, but their olive bread makes you forget buying normal bread altogother. Highly recommended.
