The lemon sole Goujons here were delicious and so was the sticky toffee pudding which just melts amazingly in the mouth. It is very nice upstairs, did not go down to the bar although I heard that people were having a fun time down there :-)
Service is excellent, and a fantastic range of bread to offer at the beginning and they very nicely bring minstrels and macarons at the end of the meal… all in all I was very happy with the atmosphere, service and food here.

Lovely small bar and great cocktails. As zwee2008 says, it’s a club, so you have to be a member or with a member, but the service is exemplary and it’s a perfect place to meet before eating upstairs or going off to Scott’s or maybe La Petite Maison. As befits a members’ club, you don’t take photos, so none offered!

George Bar (downstairs)
Its a members only club and I have no idea about how much this costs! Entrance is down a staircase off the street and if you’re a member everyone knows your name. The treatment you get from the staff in the cosy but quirky little loungy room downstairs makes you feel very apreciated and the range of georgeous flavoured mojitos leave you wanting to try another, and another and another. BUT beware, its really expensive. It’s private, personal and you feel better than a celebrity as they would never go here as no-​one would care who they are, they are too busy unwinding! The unusual photos and artwork give this place real originality unlike any bar I’ve ever been to.
George restaurant (upstairs)
This place is really good fun, lively and full of atmosphere. I ate fish twice here and it was moth watering, people I was with had lamb I think, which was calved infront of us at the table. I love the way the waiters don’t take no for an answer when it comes to having a dessert. If you say no they wheel over the dessert trolly and once you’ve seen them you can’t turn it down. Great sales tecnique! The food is done to perfection and is everything you’d expect for the price! A meal for 4 was just under £400 with good wine.
