Best carbonara I’ve ever had, period. Great value. Saved money on main, spent it on wine. Would recommend to anyone going to a show. Fast service. We had no reservations.

Average. Food mixed, they do a lunch special which is ok value. Like all these kind of places a few extras and overpriced drinks plus service and you’re up to £30 a head for something utterly forgettable. If you wander up to soho and you get something so much better for the same price.

I have come here a few times for lunch as it is really close to were I work. It’s nothing fancy, but I have always found the food here to be good. Good pastas(the Carbonara is yummy!) and pizzas. The truffle pizza was amazing last time I went. There are a few tables outside which are a nice thing for a nice and sunny day.

2014 Unilocal365CHALLENGE — 234⁄365 Randomly stumbled upon this restaurant while walking down Jermyn St one evening last week. My dad and I were staying at the Cavendish Hotel, and were trying to find something to eat late on a weekday evening. We quickly discovered many places close pretty early in London, and Getti was one of the few places actually open past 10pm. Getti is a cute little Italian restaurant! There are a few tables outside, and the inside has a bunch of tables. I was surprised to find it rather modern, clean, and trendy. Since we arrived past 10pm, there were only two or three parties other than us. Our waiter was actually from Spain? Or some other country, so he had an accent, but he was super friendly and VERY quick at serving us. We had a little chat with him towards the end of our dinner, and he was telling us about how he was working so much lately and was excited to visit his home country as a much needed vacation! I don’t know what his name was, but he was really friendly and great! I ended up getting the lasagna, which was different than what I’ve normally had in the past, but I REALLY liked it! It was heavy on the meat and cheese side, but not tomato-y at all which I really liked because I’m not a huge fan of tomato sauce. It was unique and pleasantly enjoyable. I wish I could have it again! My dad got this truffle pizza which was good, but I definitely preferred my lasagna over his. He said he enjoyed it though, which is all that counts! I would definitely have to say it’s on the pricey side, on an average of at least 20 pounds per person. However, the quality and the taste of the food was really good, and I could see myself going here again! 4 stars.

My first experience of a Unilocal offer ! Great stuff. The manager was admittedly surprised they had a Unilocal Offer setup(a free coffee). The prawn starters were very good, good pasta style stuff and finally topped off with a free coffee as well. A very reasonable restaurant, on the whole, on a back street near Picadilly circus.

Good Italian restaurant near Piccadilly Circus. Pizza is mediocre, the Branzino Alla Griglia(fish) is very good. The Italian antipasto was very good. The cannolini dessert at the end was very good.

Rip off! Lunch for two cost £45. Food was badly cooked and ingredients used were low quality. Avoid at all costs!

Meh. I came here with a friend who’s parents were in town and their hotel recommended it because it was the closest italian place to their hotel. It was ok. It did look like they had a nice deal for a 2 course meal, but I didn’t get it b/c I didn’t want to spend too much of her parents money. But I think that with Soho right around the corner I probably wouldn’t go here again.

Visited this restaurant on a Saturday night with 4 friends. Got lost on way, as Jermyn street is pretty long and arrived 15 minutes late — staff were fine and brought us to our table. Had the pre theatre menu — ordered the Bruschetta, which was lovely, topped with lots of fresh tomato and basil, exactly as the menu stated. Had the tagliatelle with courgette and aubergine, which was fine. One friend has salmon, which she said was lovely, another had chicken, which she enjoyed. The reason I have only given it 2 stars was drinks were ordered as soon as we arrived, but weren’t brought to the table, so we had to ask twice. Had to ask twice for Parmesan for the pasta. Ordered Tiramisu, which was awful — dry biscuits topped with angel delight. I rarely complain in restaurants, but as I was paying 5 pounds, I mentioned it to the manager — he said thats what Tiramisu is! I know I’m not Italian, but I am a bit of an expert when it comes to desserts, and this was very poor, but the managers attitude was worse. Quite disappointing really. Don’t think I would go back.
