They could do so much better. A perfect situation, facing the Wanstead Flats, and possibly one of the better pubs in the area, but that’s not saying much. Beer’s OK. Beer garden heaves with kids and smokers. Badly in need of a refit (seating stained and torn etc). Food is on the pub side of mediocre.
So, if you are walking around the flats, a nice place to stop a while for a drink, but probably not for long.
