Small, highly curated shop specializing in first editions and signed books. Went looking for a shop of its kind for two days — pretty sure this place is unique in an area with many bookstores. Heavy on Murakami, Dan Brown (if you’re into that), Hemingway, Greene, and popular authors. £60-£2000

Goldsboro Books specialises in selling signed first editions of any given book. For book collectors or avid fans of particular authors this store is great. You might be able to find your favourite title here complete with the author’s signature. Personally, I don’t care about that kind of stuff and I’m not into paying more than 20 quid for a title so I was drawn to their used book section. I found a Raymond Chandler classic for £3. It was a bargain, so if you don’t want to secretly marry Margaret Atwood and you’re just looking for a good, cheap book then you may find something intellectually scrumptious on these shelves.
