Not many beers on tap, wines are lackluster, but there is a huge beer garden that will be lovely in the summer. Coffee space during the day. Quirky décor. Took a while to get served.

Really nice pub and friendly atmosphere. Only ever been during the day with friends or clients. Had their vegetarian breakfast which went down a treat and the flat white coffees were great. Staff were really friendly and delivered great service with a smile

A quirky restaurant/bar/bakery/café combination in the heart of Tooting that has been my saviour on weekend mornings for my hangovers as they do an amazing breakfast! They’ve also recently started doing British style bistro food for lunch and dinner which is also pretty decent and the menu changes on a regular basis so there’s always something new to try! If you want a nice relaxed place to catch up with friends over a coffee this is definitely worth checking out and the on-site baked cakes and sausage rolls are really nice too!

Came here on a Tuesday afternoon to do some reading, had a nice cup of coffee and a toasted sandwich. Nice place but I found the layout a bit confusing and awkward; there’s a table with food on with a kitchen behind it that’s a few feet from the bar. I wanted a toasted sandwich so I had to yell into the kitchen to ask someone to toast it, I then went to the bar to order coffee and pay for the sandwich, then hovered for quite a while until the lady at the bar said she would bring the sandwich over. Service could have been more helpful, but food and atmosphere were great, I would go back.

This is more a 3 – 4 star rather than a 3 – 2 star rating. I have only ever been to the Graveney & Meadow in the evening when everyone is sat outside in the garden drinking, smoking and listening to the live music that on occasions they have on there. The wine is reasonably priced, the bar tenders very friendly and welcoming(one of them is also INSANELY good-looking). The Duchess of Graveney cocktail goes down very smoothly and although the indoor décor is a little over the top, it’s a friendly enough venue for a ‘decider drink’ -(are you going for the full on Friday at the Tram & Social or just go home to bed?) I’ve never liked the idea of having brunch at the Graveney as it is very dark and the seats aren’t comfortable, however the tapas we had one Thursday night were excellent. Pretty standard gastro-tapas but the padron peppers and crispy squid were delicious.

Hmmm Not sure how to even describe this place but here we go… its in the heart of tooting and i think it looks out of place, from the outside you would think its a pub or wine bar. Little did i know its like going to 1oclock club for tea, fresh juice etc with a bakery. The cupcakes are okay but let me down tasted a little dry. Inside looks like a scenery from a play very old and quirky. Its also dark the lights are always dimmed that makes it feel like your getting ready for bed. Only 2 stars as there could be so much potential for graveney & meadow but unfortunately i don’t think its a great place to hang out.

Ever since seeing it appear by Tooting Broadway tube station late last year, I’ve been eager to go and try out Graveney & Meadow. It rather delightfully stands out from the crowd on the High Street, and boasts an in-house bakery, full bar(with cocktails), and back restaurant with Brunch, Tapas and Dinner menus. The place is really very striking — it is playing the rustic-vintage-chic thing to the extreme. Exposed old walls, beams, decked out with old furniture and lots of ‘quirky’ items like sewing machines and framed dress patterns on the walls. Honestly I feel they went a bit over-aboard with it — it felt a little silly in places and the toilets were just plain creepy! I think management should restore a little more of the actual building as the stairs were a little too precarious and the ceiling a little too rustic… bordering on unpleasant looking. We went early yesterday for Saturday Brunch(their Brunch is only available at the weekends btw), and sadly I felt a little disappointed by it. Perhaps my expectations were a little too high — I was expecting it to be a high four or five star experience. The service was really excellent, the wait staff stood out as being so warm and personable and very attentive: providing us with a) unlimited drip coffee, and b) serving top-ups without prompting was a serious win for our little hangover! But my Eggs Benedict was a big meh moment: it arrived lukewarm, with untoasted muffin bread, and very plain-tasting Hollandaise sauce. I had to go to town with the seasoning to make it even remotely enjoyable. The other half had the Full English(so predictable!) which was a little better but he thought the mushrooms were not cooked right and the sausage could have been done longer. We could tell that the quality of the ingredients were strong however: good orange-coloured egg yolks, high-quality meats and nice seeded bread. But the food was clearly rushed and poorly prepared which was a real shame. Anyway, we will be going again for non-Brunch visits, as the selection of freshly baked cakes, pastries, and other goodies looked so delicious. The atmosphere at the front seems perfect for hanging out with a good book or writing some Unilocal reviews on a laptop ;-) I will update shortly…
