Greggs is a bakery, but dont go in there expecting a great range of breads and rolls, this is more of a cake and sausage roll kind of shop.
If you love cakes (which I do) then you will be lured in by the range of yummy unhealthy things filled with E numbers. This is a popular place for lunch time too as you can buy sausage rolls, pastry bakes with baked beans, steak, cheese. All good stuff for winter. They do a small selection of sandwiches too.
The price is a big attraction. Cheap as chips (but they dont do those!) good for the occasional visit, but watch your waist if you visit daily :-)

my partner is a lover of the gregs chicken bake, my self, when i worked close to one, i used to eat in there a lot, but at the end of the day its just a sandwich shop.
I dont go out my way to eat in gregs enless there is nothing else decient around or i am looking for a good sausage roll or steak bake.
They are a high quality shop though i have never had a bad piece of food from any one of them.
The bagettes used to be the best but they dont tend to do many of them anymore.
used to love the prawn one the best, or the chicken salad sandwich

Not the best quality food, but for the price I think Greggs fulfils a need. It’s fresher than a packaged sandwich from the back of a chiller in a convenience store and some of the baked goods rival the specialist providers, particularly the Steak Bake.
In the past I have been concerned about the quality of the meat, but I’ve always been pleasantly surprised. I’ve never been disappointed here.

Walking past Greggs on the high street is just pure torture because that fresh baked smell hangs around for ages and it makes you want to pop in for a quick sausage roll. This Greggs always seems to have enough food unlike others in London and the staff are pretty on the ball so they try their best to keep the queue down. I love Greggs because it is cheap and their food is tasty. It is making my mouth water already! This branch does get busy but as I said the queue goes down very quickly. I love the pizza baguette and chicken bake. Mmmmm yes please!
