Gregg’s is a cheap run of the mill bakers. No real specialities just the traditional loafs of bread like tin, bloomer etc. I go here for a pastie and soup. Usually the soup is tomato which tastes like a watered down version of Heinz canned soup. Still that is actually how I like it(I always add water to my canned soup at home). They have a good selection of cakes and sandwiches but don’t expect anything unique or unusual. Gregg’s in the Watling is small and has been there for years. It is really the only bakers in the area so they always seem to be busy. The bread and rolls always taste fresh and the prices are pretty unbeatable.
