It’s simple professional and my masseur he was very good I’m looking forward to go back to get one more deep tissue!

Truth be told, at first I wasn’t quite sure whether this place is a cover up for a «sexy massage» place or gay bathhouse… but being the adventurous guy I am — I took the plunge and signed up for an Anti-​Stress-​Package at £35 (this includes a peeling & wash as well as a general massage).
Upon entering the changing room, I was assigned my very own massage therapist (Ismail), who for the next hour and a half or so was my steady companion. I got undressed, wrapped the colourful pestemal around my waist and followed Ismail downstairs to the hamam. First, he stationed me in the steam room, where I would remain for a good 15 – 20 minutes, allowing my pores to open. Once I was done here, I made my way into the hamam and lay down on the marble podium… which is where the «ritual washing» would take place: with an exfoliating glove, Ismail scrubbed me down from top to bottom. Afterwards, he covered my entire body in foam and cleansed out every single pore on my body.
Afterwards, I was able to rest for a while before Ismail gave me a thorough massage. I have to say that this massage was the best that I’ve had in a long time and next time I would totally sign up for a longer massage.
Note: this place ain’t fancy. Don’t expect a luxury spa-​like environment that you may envision from having visited spas at the Four Seasons or the like. This is a place for locals and as such, it really only provides the most basic. But this is exactly what I personally appreciate about it. Furthermore, it is clean.
To sum up my visit at the Turkish Hamam in Dalson: steaming, scrubbing, foaming, resting & kneading… loved it!
Afterwards, I recommend getting a Turkish Hot Towel Shave at Altin Makas right across the street… the next ultimate pampering experience!
