I booked a last minute appt (rang at 8.30 got an appt at 9:15) thinking I was getting one of their standby appts but when it came to paying & I was charged £55 it became apparent that I had just a regular appt not sure what you have to do to get the other deal. I had a picture of the hair cut I wanted & after an in-​depth conversation the stylist went to work. She blow dried massive volume into my hair so I couldn’t really tell what the cut was like. It wasn’t until I got home & straightened my hair that i realized it wasn’t what I had asked for. I did ask her to layer it more while it was wet & she said to wait & see what I think when it’s dry.
I have never had to phone a salon & go back because a haircut was so bad but I suppose there are firsts for everything. So off I went back to the salon that afternoon & saw the same stylist. She was lovely about the whole thing but again I had to tell her at least 5 times to keep cutting layers, more, more, more until I couldn’t take it anymore & it was close enough to what I had wanted. All in all I spent far too much time & money on a below par haircut. P. s I got the hard sell on everything too!
