I love this place! I can’t get enough of it and they sell my favourite El Telar red wine(highly recommended!). Their charcuterie is delectable and the atmosphere is cosy yet vibrant. The staff are so friendly, open and very approachable. The interior is amazing. I live very nearby and I am proud of this local place. This is my go to place to catch up with friends and of course to buy my favourite wines.

Cannot quite put into words the attitude of my new-found ‘family’ at the Humble Grape. They deserve a medal on humanitarian grounds let alone their cellar and cuisine. To find this kind of care about everything especially in Battersea to me is astonishing. Then you get your education in wine everything based around your own fundamental preferences. Superb together with some of the best cheese and vegetarian offerings and home-made fig chutney. It literally begs great conversation and a sheer feeling of well-being. Mark and Desiree take a bow. Don’t be tempted to change anything. It’s perfect. Winky Evans

If like me you’re not 18 anymore and you no longer enjoy overcrowded pubs where a conversation with more than one person is impossible, this wine bar is the best option for an afterwork drink with friends or with your partner. You gonna end up in a stylish venue where you can talk without screaming and instead of the usual pub vinegar-like glass of wine, you’ll discover very tasty, well balanced and original wines from all over the world. Try them all ! In each style, humble grape has made a good selection of quality wine across the whole price range(first wine by the glass starts at £6, cheaper than some pubs of northcote road). Staff is great and friendly, ask them if you don’t know what to choose. Try the meat platter, the pâté is excellent. You can also buy a bottle in the shop upstairs to bring back home when they close.
