I worked with Ingle and Rhode last year after returning from London and had a great experience. I was immediately impressed with their intelligence and kindness as well as their ability to ask questions that helped lead to better work. I was really impressed that they saw that there were few jewelers offering conflict free jewelry and filled the void in the UK market. Ingle & Rhode’s follow up and attention to detail has made the project we’ve worked on enjoyable.

I’m rating this place with a bit of bias and minimal first-hand knowledge, but figured they deserved a Unilocal review to drive some business their way. When we first started talking rings, I didn’t want diamonds. I didn’t want any unethical stones and couldn’t wrap my head around shelling out tons of scrilla for some of the ethical rings I have seen around over the years. We happened upon Ingle & Rhode kind of by accident, and am so thankful we did. They’re located less than a five minute walk from my fiancé’s office, which I took as a sign from the bling gods. My partner really enjoyed working with them and they explained the whole process clearly, from information about the stones(he now knows an uncanny amount of info about sapphires and gemstone cuts) to the stability of the ring and cleaning and so on. I was impatient, but their timeline was fair and they delivered everything as promised. Um, and my ring is amazing. I know people will compliment your ring no matter what when you get engaged, but I’ve had 2 or 3 people already tell me that it’s their favorite engagement ring, ever. They did an amazing job. I am also impressed that it fits perfectly, as the instructions I gave for sizing included me giving my fiancé an £8 Camden Market ring that I wear on my right hand and saying«this is a little bit loose. So a little smaller than this but not TOO much smaller OKAY?» So kudos to them, because that is the most ridiculous instruction for sizing something, ever. Like I said, I know I am totally biased. It’s my ring. I’m not going to be like«meh. It’s fine.» But if you’re looking for an earth and human friendly ring, I cannot recommend them highly enough. You can choose the stones yourself(such as selecting the exact sapphire you want based on color or wanting a diamond from a specific region), fashion a ring out of recycled metals if you want, and customize everything to a T with professional guidance. Go get you some bling!
