A nice environment and delicious food with fast service!

We were very exited to find a good Italian place by our restaurant but it was not :((

I’ve eaten here a few times, always on an Open Table (Top Table) 50% off food offer which makes it amazing value. Delicious thin and crispy pizzas which are huge, and I love their starter of mushrooms stuffed with Gorgonzola. Their house white is pretty good and at only £16 a bottle it won’t break the bank.

Came with some friends with a Taste Card. We were all actually quite impressed with the quality of the food. very thoughtful and tastefully done.
Shared a caprese salad, and asparagus. For mains, the shrimp risotto was rich and a bit spicy, which was great. I had a fish filet specialty of the house, which was done in a light tomato sauce and really light and fresh.
Only downside was we were seated in the corner (of an admittedly very busy restaurant), so service took a while (but was still attentive).
All told, I would definitely come back, even without the Taste Card.

What can I say about this place. It’s probably the best Italian restaurant that I’ve been to in ages! I’ve tried many Italian restaurants in London over the years and it’s rare if I find one that I would go back to because a lot of the food is tasteless. I would definitely go back here.
The atmosphere and décor is really nice, and the staff are very attentive and friendly. We were 15 minutes late for our table booking but they still seated us without any problems. I had the mushrooms and mozzarella for starter which was delicious and the vegetarian Pizza for main which was also very good. We ended up spending two hours at the restaurant and did not feel like we were being rushed out. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be going back soon.

I was expecting better when I came to this place after my graduation. We had a big table booked for family and the service was quick, if impersonal. The food came out quickly and was perfectly edible, but I personally didn’t enjoy my meal all that much — I found it pretty bland, and that’s saying something, considering it had bacon in it! Most of the people I was with enjoyed their meals just fine, though I think they would have preferred a chain restaurant. It did turn out to be very reasonably priced, and the portions were big, but other than that it fell a bit flat for me and for a few others. A perfectly decent place if you’re in the area, especially since they offer 50% off the food if you book up on Toptable (max of 6 people), but in all it was a pretty forgettable experience.

This is a find! We are foodies and own a restaurant in Atlanta, GA. The food was fabulous and the vibe was perfect! We had no reservation on Saturday night and the cabbie recommended them to us. They were full so they sent us next door to the neighborhood pub and came and got us just as we finished our Millers Gin and tonics. How cool was this? Pretty place and the service was both personal and professional. Go there!

I had no idea there was such a good Italian place so close to where I go to school – I feel like Red Lion Street/​Square is filled with little gems that you just have to look a little for. Isolabella was a recent visit for a class dinner club, and I was really pleased with everything about the experience.
Most notably, the service was top notch, with a multi-​person team managing our table (and others). Our orders were promptly taken, food brought in a timely fashion, and all at the same time. Speaking of, the food is good. Maybe not 100% traditional, but definitely large portions! I had the Cannelloni which was huge, and stayed nicely as takeaway and was good cold for lunch the next day (this is a strange compliment, but it is one!).
All around, you wouldn’t know it from the outside or unless you know the neighborhood well, but this is a posh place for a nice Italian dinner in the Bloomsbury area. Definitely worth a go.

The food was of a really good standard. I had the king prawn and vegetable risotto which was flavoursome as well as filling. One friend had the T-​Bone steak which, cooked medium rare, was very big. My other friend had the salmon, again a generous portion size and of good quality.
The service was very very good. We took a while to order as we were talking so much but we weren’t made to hurry. The staff were very friendly and honest with their recommendations.
The restaurant itself is modern and well looked-​after. I would recommend it

I came here with my friend for dinner after booking via Toptable’s 50% off offer, which made the meal an absolute bargain. For two mains, one shared side, and two glasses of wine, the bill came to just over £20.
The waiters and waitresses were friendly and provided excellent service, accommodating to our indecisiveness (when we couldn’t decide on what to eat) and our demands (when we requested a change to the pizza) with warm smiles. I was also impressed that the wine list listed only Italian wines.
Portion size was generous, and my friend thoroughly enjoyed her pizza. My king prawn and vegetable risotto was disappointingly soggy (with a puddle at the bottom of the plate), but it was flavoursome and the prawns big, juicy, and freshly prepared.
Although the restaurant was packed full of tables and chairs, they were arranged cleverly so you don’t feel like you are eavesdropping on your neighbouring patrons’ conversations.
Overall, given the generous discount we received on the bill via the Toptable, and the great ambiance for catching up, I would definitely come back again for more meals with friends, although I will skip the risotto next time!
