Itsu

I’m a bit of a latecomer to Itsu as I’m generally not attracted to the design of most of the outlets. This one in that anonymous newly built square behind Paddington being a perfect example … just a boring non-​descript outlet in a glass fronted development. But once you’ve tasted their salads and sushi you are hooked … I’ve now been three days in a row and even made a special journey — to Paddington!
I was not surprised to learn that Itsu has been designed by the same people who were behind Pret a Manger — it has a very similar appeal in that it just seems to offer a slightly more interesting and more healthy choice. I only hope they also give their leftovers to people in need — on one of my visits an entire shelf of sushi was being emptied out to guarantee freshness …

«Healthier» fast food, tastes great, prices are low and service is fast. This would be the ideal place to grab a quick lunch, specially if you’re taking away.

This is what I love for lunch: healthy, quick, reasonably priced, and close to work. I’m working in Paddington these days and this is a great location. It’s what you expect from Itsu.
