Itsu

¡Qué descubrimiento ha sido esta cadena de comida de Londres! Tras pasar por delante de varios de ellos, finalmente nos decidimos a probar uno. No solemos acudir con frecuencia a este tipo de sitios porque tenemos la sensación de que la comida no es de calidad. Sin embargo, ¡el hambre apretaba y lo teníamos al lado!
¡Menudo sorpresón nos llevamos! Sushi, teriyaki, arroz estilo japonés, salmón, noodles… Basado en la comida asiática, apuesta por la calidad, los productos frescos y las bajas calorías. Aunque parezca comida envasada, la preparan ellos mismos cada día. De hecho, media hora antes del cierre, bajan los precios a la mitad para deshacerse del excedente y evitar tener que tirarlos (porque no los guardan para el día siguiente).
Probamos los Jaipur Chicken Noodles, una nueva receta que han incorporado, y están deliciosos. Con cierto toque picante, calentitos… ¡perfectos para el frío! También el sushi estaba muy bueno, aunque el wasabi podría ser mejor.
La atención es muy buena y el concepto de restaurante está bastante bien. ¡Repetiremos cuando vayamos a Londres! Perfecto para un lunch rápido ;)

Since the sis and I were in delirious mode from hunger… we ended up grabbing a late lunch here…
The sis ended up getting some Thai soup and I got a chicken rice dish that I don’t really remember the proper name of it.
First bite: eh… they added a new element to the classic chicken terriyaki and it totally threw me off. It was weird. The sis said it’s the «healthy» factor… I think it’s just them trying hard.
The idea is great: fast food healthy Asian meal. I think this will totally fly if you market it in LA.
The consumers were all business folks trying to eat on the go… I totally felt off, considering we were the token asian folks eating!
Anyway… if you ever find yourself being desperate for an asian food fix… don’t go here. No really… don’t! :) You’ve been warned!

itsu is a fantastic chain. They provide high quality, healthy food options. Sadly, they have limited vegetarian options.
It’s a great place to grab a quick lunch or take things to go. Excellent food to substitute for your own house party.
Service is good and they are willing to exchange dishes that have perished throughout the course of the day.

Expect chain quality food and 3star Michelin prices

Had a really nice lunch here yesterday, very fast service and the food was very good, wish i could sushi everyday!!!

I do like Itsu but this branch I don’t really care much for. Don’t get me wrong the food taste the same as any other Itsu but staff is so not attentive and looks and speaks like they would like to be anywhere but there, ohhhh that is if you can actually find staff to help you or pay. Hmmm that’s not really service is it… ??? Your the only person in the whole place but have to start walking around looking for someone to pay your choosen food to, yes I know I should have just placed it back and gone else where but just really fancied some fast take away sushi, and i do like Itsu but this branch will neverget my money again.
