Standard weather spoons with more than usual choice customers!
Other than cheap drinks there is nothing else I add with a positive.
I will never return.

Typical Wetherspoons establishment opposite Tooting Broadway tube station. Long narrow bar, good range of beers. No parking or garden. Not as large as other pubs of this chain.

I quite like this place for an end of the night short on the way home. It is a terrible Wetherspoons really, but you get a lovely slice of culture. It attracts all sorts of people 40+. Very few young ones. Play the fruities or sit by and amuse yourself with the harmless old man almost too drunk to stand, the heated debates from the table of life long friends or a passing crowd on their night out

Cheap drinks, low rent ambience. Uninterested staff. I use this place for cheap drinks on my own, it’s not a place to be seen in

A fairly typical Wetherspoons pub right by the Tooting Broadway junction. Inside you have the usual characters and the usual cheap drinks.
I dropped by a few weeks back when they were still serving some very nice Welton’s beers for the six nations. According to the barmaid I was the first person all day to dare refer to the French one by its true name (le coq). Whatever you want to call it (and most people were calling it ‘the French one’) it was a very good pint, tasting all the better for costing less than 2 pounds.
The toilet here wasn’t very nice here, which is unusual among Wetherspoon’s pubs. The one thing they do have right though is you can’t smell them from the tables immediately outside. I know a few pubs who should really ask them what their secret is for that!

It’s a Spoons, so that’s the first point of reference. It’s cheap and with the other pubs in Tooting getting ever more expensive it attracts more than it’s fair share of people that want to drink all day and night for as little money as possible.
For a spoons this place it actually really quite small, the smoking ban has led to a selection of undesirable people hanging around the entrance (which gives a worrying but apt feeling for what you might find inside).
That said, I have been in there a many times simply because I have found it entertaining; it’s like being on the set of Eastender’s in the Queen Vic. You have no idea what’s going to happen. I have seen fights, the police rushing in a few times, the whole place full of people from the nearby travelling circus it’s just crazy.
Full of the usual selection of Spoon types (old soaks, chavs and the like). I really should hate this place, however I don’t. It’s rough and ready, rubbish but an experience. Don’t go with your girlfriend, instead just go with a couple of mates, grab a table in a corner and see what ‘entertainment’ might unfurl in front of your eyes :-)

oh dear. oh dear. oh dear. If there weren’t the odd genius guest beer courtesy of the chain it’s one to avoid.
Late night, Tooting, there is little to choose from. If you are in here just check you haven’t become incontinent and ignorant, it is endemic here.

Pretty standard weatherspoons with the normal cheap drinks and cheap food, it also houses the usual array of career alcoholics from opening time every day of the week. Good location close to the tube and worth popping in for a cheap pint or bite to eat of a lunch time but I wouldn’t venture near here at night.
