This is a commercial gallery on steroids! There is just too much going on, too many prints on the walls, the idea is to shift the stock, not so much to represent the artist. The prints are«20th Century American Pop», some of them are quite interesting, but too intense for my taste. There are better galleries out there! All this gallery is representing is that is has a lot of limited edition prints to sell… not exactly challenging and Saatchi probably won’t be paying a visit.

At Jealous, there is a limited edition print in black and white with a skinny lady holding out a tray. It is captioned Time to Take Your Medication. I like her pointy little teeth and I laughed and laughed. I really like this gallery. They advertise it as affordable art and I hope it will one day be affordable for me to shop here. Jealous sells limited edition prints from emerging and established artists. The prices range from 250 – 599 officially but I heard one being advertised for 200 pounds, a picture of a crying monkey. The art here is mostly pop art and is controversial in a delightful way like putting the queen in a gas mask to explain terrorism. You will enjoy looking around here or having a chat with the staff. If you can afford anything other than bare essentials, by industry standards this art is affordable. Cool as well.
