In love with this restaurant. The buffet system is just amazing. You can choose from wide variety of dishes. Fresh prepared food to sweets to desserts to cocktails and mocktails! In love with everything!!! Fav place for dinner so far.

The décor going up to the restaurant was really fascinating which was good as we had quite a wait to get a table despite it being mid-afternoon. This seemed strange once we were seated as there were a LOT of empty tables in the expansive restaurant. It was also strange that, after ordering our drinks, we were asked to pay in advance for our meal. I assumed that this was to help get people in and out as quickly as possible but I saw other people asking for the bill and paying once they were done so it was very odd indeed. Anyway we went to grab some food while the waitress put our drinks order in at the bar. There wasn’t a whole lot to choose from in the mains section and what there was didn’t seem to have much left but what I did like about Jimmy’s were the Live Stations where you could have certain foods made to order including fajitas and pasta. Unfortunately because it was so busy these were packed and I was too hungry to be bothered waiting. Back at our table our drinks still hadn’t arrived before we’d finished our first plateful nor even by the time we’d cleared our plates. In the end after getting a second plate of munchies I had to ask a passing waiter about them. Overall the food wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great either. The restaurant seems to seat too many people for the size of the buffet area and the number of staff — if there’s one thing I learned when I worked in catering it’s that hungry people don’t want to be kept waiting! I probably won’t be eating here again.

So, their food was okay. But, the service made the whole experience pretty bad. Granted they were quite busy, a bit of organization may have helped with the confusion. When you walk in, you are unsure of where to go. Once seated and you order your drinks, make sure you know what you want for the duration of your time there.. You may never see your waiter again, until it’s time to pay of course :-)

This place is awful! Upon hearing about what Jimmy’s World Grill had to offer I was excited about going there. I love pizza, I love Indian food and I love Chinese food so thought I was on to a winner. It is also an eat all you want buffet so the idea of eating as much Pizza, Indian food and Chinese food as I liked seemed like a double bonus! Well I was wrong. The venue itself is massive and really nice. To be fair, the Pizza and Indian food was ok, but not very good compared to most other places I have been too. The Chinese food was awful and we even saw one chef taking frozen spring rolls out of a box that was bought from a supermarket! I couldn’t believe it! Every time I went to get food there was a stench of cooking oil that was so bad that I could still smell it on my clothes the next day. Proper gross! We only got one round of drinks because trying to get a second round was impossible as the staff were so disorganised that they were just wandering around looking confused and didn’t come to our table apart from when we paid the bill(which I will talk about later). After we ate very little because the food was hardly appealing, we decided to have some ice-cream. Upon asking the man serving ice-cream for some ice-cream, he looked at us like we had just asked him for one of his kidneys. So rude. Then when he gave us a scoop of ice-cream, we realised that there wasn’t any spoons to eat it with. We then asked if we could have the ice-cream on a cone only to be meet with another disgusted look like we had asked him for another kidney. By this point I just really wanted to leave but then had to wait(I kid you not) over 20 minutes for someone to bring our bill, and then another 15 mins for someone to come and get the money for our meal. It was the first time ever that I was going to walk out of a restaurant without paying. Needless to say, I would rather stab myself in the eyes with a dessert spoon than go here again. Oh wait, they didn’t have any dessert spoons!

Went to the London Designer Outlet that opened a while ago at Wembley, it’s not far from where I live and husband suggested it so I wasn’t going to turn down the offer! Parking is confusing. The signs say £30 but the attendant told us up to 2 hours £3. The one main lift was out of action that day, but that is unrelated to our meal at Jimmy’s. As my husband was using a shopmobility scooter, the waitress offered us a table for two right near the food counters. We’d just sat down and another waitress asked us had we just sat down, to which we replied we had. «Well can you come and sit over here?» indicating seating further away — to which we explained we’d been offered to sit there by her colleague. OK, maybe a genuine mistake. They weren’t particularly busy as it was only 10 minutes after they’d opened at Noon. So a waiter pounces to ask if we want drinks(which are nice but expensive) so I requested tap water. I let my husband go and get some food and waited for him to return and then went to peruse the food counters. It’s an incredible place — an «all you can eat» single price where you can choose from salads, pastas, pizzas, chinese, indian, mexican, steak. If you’re a big eater — this is the place for you! Thankfully, they had a nice selection of vegetarian dishes as we don’t eat meat when we’re out. When I returned to the table, my husband told me that a waitress had asked if he wanted a drink(glasses of water had not been brought to the table!) so he said he’d like an Assam Tea. It was obvious she spoke poor English because, in spite of him pointing to the words«Assam Tea» in the menu she said«You want Apple Mojito?» so he told her not to bother. A little later, whilst eating, I asked the waiter if we could have an Assam Tea. He went away, came back and said that they didn’t have any and did we want another type of tea? «Okay, Darjeeling please.» He returned to say they didn’t have that, either so requested one pot of breakfast tea which, thankfully, they DID have. I did, finally, get my glass of tap water, a good 20 minutes and asking twice after my original request for it. Sometimes the food isn’t all that hot but, bearing in mind that once you’ve spooned food on your plate you’ll be walking around the other food stations to peruse what else there is, the food on your plate is going to have cooled off(unless you’ve just picked up salads, of course!). While eating our dessert a chap, who appeared to be the manager, had seen my water glass empty and came over to refill it and asked if everything was alright. Er, no, actually. So we explained about the seating and the waitress misunderstanding the request for tea and he apologised that they have a lot of foreign employees who don’t speak the language very well. When we told him about the Assam tea he was quite taken aback that we’d been told that there wasn’t any, nor any Darjeeling to be had and he said he’d look into it because both teas are quite popular. Our visit was on a Saturday and there were a lot of people there who were presumably attending weddings later as they were all dressed up — one lady kept catching her long skirt on her heels! Also there were children running with a plate of food in their hands which I thought was extremely dangerous but nobody else seemed to think it was a problem. One guy in a chef’s outfit but presumably a senior one, kept coming around with a dustpan and brush to pick up spilt food from the floors and the interior, which was VAST, was extremely clean.

Jimmy’s World Grill has a vast buffet selection of cuisines available; Indian, Thai, Chinese, and Mexican with delicious dishes such as Red Thai Curry, Aromatic Crispy Duck and Chicken Korma which are some of my faves. The best feature of this restaurant are the live cooking stations where you can select exactly what you want from the selection and they cook it live in front of you. They have live stations for pasta, mexican, pizza plus my favourites, the noodle station and tandoori bread station. If you still have space(which I always do) they have a great selection of desserts; brownies, red velvet cake, lemon drizzle, jelly and an ice cream station complete with an array of ice creams, sauces and toppings to choose from! This place is great if you want to try different delicious cuisines and have a big appetite!
