I was very disappointed in a recent visit to this location. I have been a big fan of Jo Malone since a visit to London several years ago. Last when, when In London, I stopped by. After 15 minutes of not only not being acknowledged let alone asked if I needed assistance, I left. I had been prepared to spend a fair amount of money but if they weren’t interested enough to even acknowledge me, I wasn’t interested enough to continue to stand around. I will continue to purchase Jo Malone at the Nordstrom I shop at in the states where not only am I acknowledged, I am greeted with my name.

I don’t know why I’m obsessed with this line. It’s quite an expensive habit to collect a Jo Malone fragrance line. Still there is something about going inside and exploring the flavors(and flavor combinations) that are possible to you. The staff are friendly and will wash you up to allow you to experience whichever scent or scentational combination that is new and fresh. The newest smells that rule are Earl Grey & Cucumber and Sweet Lemon. Together its like wearing a sweet tea. I still will vouch for my favorite scent. English Pear and Freesia. They always have a new scent so you can create yourself a new fragrance that is unique. The bespoke way as they call it. They are now owned by Estee Lauder but the original creator of the name is still a creative collaborator. That’s per the working staff at the store.

I love Jo Malone. I don’t know if Jo is a guy or a girl I just know that they smell fucking sexy. I like to smell sexy, therefore I buy my perfume from Jo. Jo is expensive. It’s not quite«The Perfume Store» or «Notting Hill The Movie Fragrance Guy On Oxford Street With A Megaphone»(on a side note, I need to buy a megaphone urgently…), it’s the price of a small goat in some far off villages. Maybe a camel, but certainly a goat. For a big price tag you can smell so good, you won’t want to get on the tube for fear of being smelt and stolen by the other commuters. Like a sandwich but in a fragrance form… So back to Jo. This shop is lovely, you can go in and for free squirt yourself with sexy smells while the staff eye you up like the cheapskate that you are. I do buy Jo’s stuff, just at the airport where it’s tax free. Mmmm, sexy smells…

you cant help but fall in love with jo malone. celebrities and beauty journalists alike, clamour for jo. the way she looks and the way she smells!!! she is luxuriously lavish and a mere visit to the shop will awaken your senses, yet leave you feeling a zen-like calmness. additionally, this outlet and the one on sloane street boasts an exclusive treatment room each(only 5 in the UK) and offers jo’s legendary treatments. the service and packaging of their products are simple yet pleasingly appealing. finally, for those who sign up as a registered online member, a complimentary hand & arm massage awaits you. The treatment includes a gentle exfoliation, a relaxing massage and an intensive moisture mask, all wrapped up with a delicious spritz of a jo malone cologne. p/s: in case you are wondering, they also offer fragrances for men:)

Jo Malone perfume and candles smells wonderful but this shop smells a bit too much. If you spend a long time in here you’ll be leaving with a headache. But the staff is very friendly and know what they are talking about. Lovely interior and you feel right at home! Got all the perfume you need and great gift ideas.
