Jolie Rouge

I have now had two tattoos done at Jolie Rouge and I don’t regret a single one, especially the new one!
Both were done on simply walking in and enquiring and they were able to fit me in straight away. My tattoos are small so they didn’t take long but they were very thorough in their prep and made sure they were the right size. My second is a treble clef and I wanted it to match the size of the tattoo on my right wrist. I had enquired at other parlours and they were all saying they couldn’t do it that small and it would be £70/£80 which seemed excessive. Jolie Rouge were instantly accommodating and charged only the minimum spend which was £50. I was also inked by a visiting award winning artist and you can certainly tell by the penmanship of the image! He was very nice and we were done in about 10 mins!
The aesthetics in Jolie Rouge are also fabulous, reds and blacks, a chaise long vintage style décor. The parlour downstairs has the resident artistes sketches on the walls (there are 4 of them. Rachel did both mine and Ian P’s first tattoos) and there are a couple of beds for those having larger bodywork done and then smaller chair stations for other works. They don’t have screens or private rooms but I’m sure if you were getting something intimate yet would have something!
Overall they have been the nicest people to have encountered in a Tattoo parlour, very accommodating, they seem reasonably priced, even with a £50 minimum it is definitely worth it for the quality of the work. They always make sure you are happy with what you are getting before they start with the ink and the final product is to a very high standard.
