No, it did not hit the spot! Their biryani is nothing to brag about. Highlights: Samosas? Can improve: Their lamb and veg biryani both missed the mark and were average at best. Other food was same in quality and taste. Benchmark: When it comes to biryani, the best I have ever had was at a Muslim wedding in 2007, since then I have tried many home and restaurant cooked biryani but nothing compares. The only one that comes close is when I visit India, a family friend cooks it in a traditional way which takes him over 5 hours to make. Dined in June 2015 and will not return.

How can the same restaurant(and probably the same chef) dish out food so good and so bad at the same time? I have frequented this place over the last few months trying out various dishes on the menu. The conclusion, without a doubt the best biryani in London so far. It is always perfectly cooked, has the right meat to rice ratio and just a brilliant blend of spices. If the biryani was the show you were waiting for then the mutton chops are the precursor to it. Quite like a well planned opening just before the main act you’ve been waiting for. Unfortunately all other dishes served here pale in comparison or even in isolation. It’s as if the chef said, ‘Okay let’s make the biryani and the mutton chops simply delicious and just to make sure that the customers don’t order anything else, let’s make everything else taste like, well nothing“ These rest of the menu isn’t worth trying. It just doesn’t taste right but by now I guess you know what to order. Eating the mutton chops can get a little messy but the mess won’t last long. It’s more devour rather than savour. The service is alright too. However for some reason, they seem to take far too long to collect the cheque, almost as if they weren’t interested in the money. So, a solid 5 star for the biryani and chops and another equally solid 1 star for rest of the food taking the average to 3. Add decent service(read as expected) and the final verdict is a 3

One of the few decent places to eat in Willesden. The biriani is their speciality. It’s a wonderful dish! Rest of the menu is decent but not remarkable.

5 out of 5 for the amazing food. Service would be a 4 and the same again for seating space, unless you’re with a group in which case it gets a 3 given it’s very cramped inside. It’s usually quiet, clean, and welcoming. It can be considered wheelchair accessible if you have someone there to help, if you don’t then the doors and tight turning space will limit your chances of getting in by yourself. Reasonably priced.

Very nice prawn carry, you can ask for mild, I like spicy. Perfect choice, if you like Indian food. I did enjoy.

For all the Biryani lovers out there, or should I just say, for all the foodlovers? Kadiris serves some of the best Mughlai dishes I have ever had in my lifetime. You would just want to go on and on, causing gluttony, inspite of feeling full till the throat… The food is so yummy! We had ordered Chicken, Mutton & Veg Biryani and Paneer Tikka and Chilli Paneer(as side dishes). Literally finger licking good! You are still in awe of the lovely– looking geometric and artistic wall decorations inside the restaurant, and the food comes within no– time, which makes it even better! Sweet staff who keeps asking you every now and then, incase you need anything. I so wish they had a branch near Stratford…

Best Indian food in London. period! The biryani is their signature dish, you will not have tasted anything like it before, so so good! Book ahead as it is small and always busy.

I know so many people that really like this place, but having eaten here a few times, I have to say, I find it rather disappointing. They have a reputation for their fish curries — apparently people come from miles around to eat them — not sure why, as I wasn’t impressed… The food isn’t bad, it’s just not all that amazing in my opinion. Plus, I feel that for a curry house located on the Willesden High Rd, their prices are a couple of pounds more than they should be and their service charge is high. I found their pashwari naan incredibly oily(I can feel my skin breaking out in spots just thinking about it) and the other food, was just kind of unexeptional to my taste buds… but that’s just me. On the plus side, Kadiri’s(which is long established) had a make-over last year, and so it looks nice and modern! Meh.

I’ve been a fan of Kadiri’s for a couple of years now. I love their vegtable korma, fried mushroom rice and their pashwari naan just does it for me. This time round however I thought I try something new, went for their prawn curry and to my utter surprise, It was the worst I had ever had. Was sooo disappointed. The two new waiters were so good looking though, that’s alwayas a plus;)

Very nice restaurant, small and family run so food is of excellent quality. You need to probably make a booking here to avoid getting there and being disappointed as there is very limited seating. While I was sitting there, I saw that they do do a very nice takeaway, so perhaps that is another option. We made the mistake of trying to drive there on a Saturday night, taking the tube would have been a better option. The restaurant is comfortable and clean and the staff are obliging. Would recommend to one and all. Tip for parking at night — park in the Sainsburys lot across the way.

Kadiris has been our local Indian of choice for over 20 years. Despite trying out other places, we never fail to come back. They regularly re-decorate so the ambience is always very comfortable and stylish and their chicken biriyani is second to none. I also recommend you try a faluda, an ice-cream, milk, rosewater and syrup drink. However, there is not a dish that will disappoint you in the slightest.
