I used to absolutely LOVE this shop, and would come in on my lunch break to browse the beautiful bags and accessories. However, having made a few purchases my experience has been tainted to say the least. In Jan 2014 I treated myself to a leather Filofax style agenda. The sales lady was very good, and definitely talked me into it. It cost £130 but I figured that would be worth it as I could use it for years, buying the pretty Kate Spade refills every year. Now KS have decided to stop stocking the agendas in the refills in the UK shops and on the UK website. Not a huge problem as I figured I could still buy the refills from the US website and just take a bit of a hit on the postage cost, right? WRONG. The US website now doesn’t ship to the UK as there is a UK website(which doesn’t stock the refills?!). I went into the shop to ask them about it and emailed both the UK and US customer services, neither offered any sort of solution. One of the emails actually said ‘there is not much we can do about that’. Wow. I’ve also had a couple of issues with quality, particularly on the handles of their(overpriced) bags. I do still love their phone cases, but as a previously loyal customer I feel really let down by their customer services and won’t be buying any more.

Roxanne had the bag of my dreams — the Westward adventurer satchel from the Current/Elliott x Kate Spade collaboration — held here until I could get back to London to fetch it. When the key for the satchel’s lock didn’t work four shop girls helped me unlock it and then rustled up one that did. Is everyone at Kate Spade a complete and utter sweetheart? If the Covent Garden and Walnut Creek shops are any indication, the answer is yes.

This has to be one of my favorite Kate Spade stores in all of London. It rivals several of the stores in NYC! It’s back on Langley Court, but it’s somewhat off the beaten track location is worth the find. It is two-stories with the majority of the merchandise that Kate Spade offers in the various seasons. The majority of the products are the converted price. But always double check! Sometimes they are not! Was invited to the Spring 2013 launch party for the new collection. A friend and I had a great time with champagne, macaroons, and 20% off! Staff is always friendly and actually remembers you!
