Nice place with good drinks and friendly staff. Lovely small backyard. The internet-room could be a nice smoking room, if only the Nanny State would allow it.

Kavah’s storefront claims it is London’s premier coffee house. What I find it to be is overpriced, poorly made, small-portioned, and too-fancy for its own good. There’s lots of modern Italian leather furniture inside, much of which looks better than it feels. The coffee is always made far too hot. The sandwiches are expensive. The pastries are small. Service isn’t brilliant, either. They do have internet terminals you can use for a fee. It’s trying to be high-end, but just isn’t worth it.
