Kemtos Event Solution

The worst cater I’ve ever encountered.
We book caters at least once a month and never have I experienced such a poor service.
They were due to arrive at 5.30pm to set up for an event at 7pm, they arrived at 7.45! We had to throw an impromptu free drinks reception to cover for the fact that there was no food.
When they arrived there was no apology and no attempt to speed things up, they took their time getting the food out of the cars and complained about stairs, we had to pool together our staff to get the stuff taken down the stairs.
We asked for the starter to be hurried up, but they just ignored anything we said and did things in their own time, two members of their staff were stood with their hands in their pockets doing nothing.
They ran out of the starter and 20 people didn’t get anything, the starter was also supposed to be vegetarian, was served… then as people came up to complain we saw it was a chicken soup!
The main was so slow to come out that we took over and served the food ourselves.
Several people walked out, a number of our African guest complained that food was bad and didnt represent African cuisine, there was also a rice dish which we were told was veggie, but discovered had prawns in it!
After the nightmare was over and our guest left, we asked Kemtos how they thought the events had gone, their reply was «it went well»
We pointed out all the problems which was met with a shrug and refusal to reduce the price.
Awful.
