This American abroad was very pleased with brunch on a Saturday. Great espresso bar, daily menu and great service. I got the creamy mushrooms on challa toast with 2 poached eggs — the server suggested it. It was delicious. A berry smoothie to start and a flat white. Everything was perfect. 4 stars bc of the close quarters and rushed service staff but otherwise really really delicious.

Great brunch spot. They do the classics and they do them well. Berry and banana smoothie is with fresh fruit and not frozen. Eggs Benedict and Royal good. Waiter was nice enough to let us get a half order of each.(I just prefer my muffins more toasted.) It also needed a side. I recommend the side salad. It was dressed perfectly. English breakfast was probably better than the eggs. The sausage and bacon were both great.

Absolutely excellent. The neighborhood is peaceful and pleasant. The food was exceptional. The classic English breakfast was perfect. Espresso and tea were exactly what I was looking for. Think you for a delightful breakfast.

I think I would have liked this place better if I wasn’t a vegetarian American when I visited. I had to settle for toast and baked beans, which were pretty pricey for what they were. However, my carnivorous friend got a loaded breakfast plate and really enjoyed it. The establishment is adorable and located in a quaint little square. I would like to go back and give it another shot now that I can try the sausages!

Love this place. I live 3 blocks away and come at least once a weekend when I’m in town. It’s fresh, delicious and relatively healthy.

The downstairs seating area is quite dim, and the waiters don’t seem to pay much attention to the tables down there. They really need more outdoor seating and upstairs seating, as well. The waitstaff also have a tendency to behave as if it’s a chore to be serving you, even when just taking orders for drinks and tea. The service is also incredibly slow. Aside from the service, however, the food is usually quite good and the atmosphere fun. On a recent visit last Thursday morning I had two poached eggs on toast and was very disappointed, however, as the eggs had been overcooked and didn’t have a runny yolk whatsoever. One of my friends had the full English which looked great and the other had the smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel which also looked great. We all split an order of the ‘American’ style pancakes, which were not American style at all(I’m American myself so can tell the difference), but nevertheless good. They were very small and round and thick, and came with a side of greek yoghurt, fresh berries and fake maple syrup. The maple syrup should have been real. The berries were incredibly fresh and delicious, though. My English breakfast tea was also outstanding, though it would have been nice to get a pot with fresh tea leaves instead of just tea bags. Also when I asked for ketchup and mustard for the table, we were given, literally, a small pot of each with ONE spoonful of ketchup and ONE spoonful of mustard in them. I had to keep asking for more. The portions overall were quite small, as well, judging by the pancakes and my friend’s English breakfast. Overall I will probably be back, but it could just use improving in several ways.

So I’ve been meaning to have breakfast here for ages. I finally got round to going and I was not disappointed. The décor is very fitting for the ambience in the place and the staff are amazingly attentive. I have the rate the overall feel as 5 stars. With regards the breakfast, it was well presented and made to order. I did forget to take a picture of it, but that’s because it looked so yummy and I didn’t want it to get cold. I also ordered a mixed berry smoothie which was fresh and hot the spot. Overall the food was very nice, I could have easily had seconds. My only negative would be the price, it is abit on the expensive side but worth it.

It’s weird that this doesn’t have a cost symbol, but for the record it’s fairly pricy for breakfast. For example a side of scrambled eggs is four pounds. That being said they were probably the best scrambled eggs I have ever eaten. A litre of cream was likely added, but who cares, they were fantastic. Overall, although it was pricey, it was worth it. It was a beautiful, cozy, bright restaurant. It was all white and soft lime green, and rustic wood, I felt like I was in a summer cottage. The latte I had was fantastic, delicious food, and there was a great view of Kensington square. This would be a great place in the summer, cause there are a few tables out front and it would be very peaceful as it feels like you’re in a village even though you’re right downtown Kensington. The service was attentive and friendly. I don’t think any scrambled eggs are worth four pounds, so I do think the place is a bit over priced, however I enjoyed myself so much I didn’t really care.

If you’re American, you’d LOVE the menu and food yet without«American-sized» portions! They have British dishes too but a few American classics… maybe bc it’s so close to Whole Foods? Between my hungover self and another friend, we annihilated: Huevos rancheros(er not quite Cali-style as it has runny eggs but still DELISH), NY style bagel w/lox & cream cheese, and melba peach pancakes(American, thick pancake, not a crêpe pancake). It’s decorated so cute inside… like Brissi!

I headed here with a friend for lunch on a sunny Friday earlier this month. We immediately bagged a seat upstairs, which was light, bright and very relaxing in atmosphere. The owner gave us menus and joked with us about bubbles(we did indulge in the end after only a second or so of arm-twisting). I opted for cake and champagne(perhaps foolish, but very tasty in theory). My drink was cold, crisp and lovely. My cake, though promising to be delicious after looking at the display of homemade options, was just ok. It was a lemon cupcake that was a bit dry, and on the whole pretty average. My friend’s salad looked far nicer, but when perusing the menu, there wasn’t much that grabbed my fancy. I hear the coffee is great there though, and several people seemed to be going in just for that. Bit of a shame on the cake and menu front, since the owner was so nice. Would I go back? Maybe, but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

KSK has a delicious and french breakfast and lunch offering. Their morning cocktail selection is also excellent! Perfect before a day of shopping! Oh, the setting is also very picturesque, overlooking Kensington Square. It’s idyllic!
