We decided to pick Kesar in Lewisham as a random Saturday night delivered curry, and were quite pleased with what arrived — albiet about 15 minute lates.
The meal for two came with two starters, plus papadums, rice, two mains, a vegetable dish and naan, and they were happy to replace the included mains without any hassle or extra charge.
The food itself was tasty, with the lamb and chicken both being tender with a good amount of spice. It wasn’t overly oily either, which is a common theme with cheaper end Indian food.
