I enjoyed my experience at Kua Aina. I got teriyaki and pineapple which was really juicy and tasty but unfortunately due to miscommunication it came as a sandwich not a burger. It didn’t matter too much, I was just a bit jealous of my boyfriends burger! Sweet potato fries were great — a must try. Service was super friendly and welcoming although we had to ask to have both our drink and food orders taken because they were quite slow. Overall it was a really cool atmosphere with good food. Will probably be back again for a cheap bite to eat and will try the desserts next time as they sounded very tempting!

We went here for breakfast. So I had pancakes with sausages and eggs. The portion is generous, pancakes were fluffy good. My friend ordered the classic item. They are all nice. Staffs Were friendly and the price is also very reasonable. £5.95 is the most expensive breakfast item in the menu.

I’ve only been here twice so far and both were for free breakfast, so what’s not to like when it’s free? I had the pancakes and bacon with maple syrup and opted to pay for a cappucino. The pancakes were nice and fluffy, the bacon maybe slightly on the crispier side but still good with a pot of maple syrup. You get 3 pancakes and they like to serve them in a wooden basket; unusual twist. Normally £4.95 not a bad price for the portion size and the taste. The cappuccino also tasted good and at £2.25 not badly priced. All the staff wear colourful Hawaain shirts and are friendly and deliver good service. 10% is added onto the bill for service charge, which is less than a lot of other places in London.

This place is worth 5 stars. Came in today looking for breakfast, was warmly greeted outside at the door with the offer of free breakfast if we post about it on twitter. I am not a twitter user, so I am doing it this way. Even considering that this place was fairly busy, giving out free breakfast(which was phenomenal), EVERYONE was still providing exceptional customer service(not something you’ll ever find back in the states when people are doing free anything). Coffee was on point, tea was on point, pancakes, and american bacon was on point. Unfortunately I was not able to get a beer that early in the morning due to licensing reasons, but that did not take away from the generally pleasant experience. I’ll most def be returning to this establishment upon my next visit to London.

Best burger I’ve had for a long while, & I don’t usually dig burgers. Also, if I were banged up on death row, my last dessert would be the blueberry pancakes so leave room for them. The toilets were cosy, but the thing that brought this down from five stars was our amazing waitress clocked off at the end of our mains & her substitute was sub-par. However, if you’re down Oxford St this place is definitely worth the strut.

Great burger! I landed here with a small group on a Friday night around 9PM. The restaurant was fairly empty and we were seated downstairs. The service was patchy and our server seemed generally confused, but she was friendly when she occasionally turned up. We ordered a round of margaritas. Not good. Mine tasted like it’d been poured from a jug of watered-down margarita mix, then mixed with a small amount of cheap tequila. Review lost a star for that. On the flipside, the burgers were amazing for the price(about 8 quid I think). Everyone at the table ordered a pineapple burger. The pineapple itself was a small, dried-out ring that I could hardly taste, but the burger was perfect. The chips were also nicely cooked and delicious. I would definitely visit again.

Best place for succulent, juicy and tasty burger in a very Hawaiian atmosphere, mouthwatering sandwiches and the sweetest sweet potato fries ever and friendly staff(you would be treated like a family)

I was excited to see that Kua’ Aina opened up a second location somewhat near my work. My co-worker and I decided to give it a try today, although he was a bit concerned with the Hawaiian food/theme of the restaurant. I convinced him to give it a go anyway. We arrived around 12:15 pm and we were seated right away. That’s a good sign. It was downstairs where they have a bit of extra seating, but it’s nice that there’s not a problem getting a seat for lunch on a Friday. However, by the time we left, there was a very full restaurant and what looked liked a few people waiting. After deliberating for quite awhile, I decided to go for the spicy chicken sandwich with cheddar and avocado. My co-worker got the rosemary chicken with halloumi sandwich. I got mine on toast, he on a bun. We split an order of fries(because he doesn’t like sweet potato fries for some reason… I’ll work on him). My sandwich was pretty tasty, although it was far from spicy. Like really far from spicy. But it was tasty anyway. The fries were yummy. The rosemary chicken sandwich was another story. The chicken itself looked slightly underdone in the middle unfortunately(and I’ll eat slightly pink chicken, and it was more pink than I would even eat). So we had to send it back. They did apologize profusely and bring out another one that was completely cooked through and much hotter than the first sandwich. He said he’d come back(which is a plus in my book considering he had slightly underdone chicken). He’ll probably get a burger next time(and they looked pretty amazing). So if you’re looking for a fairly inexpensive, good and quick meal in the area, you should definitely stop by and give them a try!
