I think that this small place deserves much more recognition and fame. Having the unfortunate placement near the trendy breakfast cafes around, many people just walk by it and don’t give it a chance. Well, that’s not me, I decided to give it a go a couple of months back and I still go there for breakfast when I find myself in Fitzrovia. The space is nice and simple, not too grand or too shabby; just the right amount of comfortable. The staff is genuinely friendly and I always start my day nicely when I eat at La Mance. The menu is lovely and has a good variety in eggs, that is of course if you like eggs. But who doesn’t. Try the chorizo option — it’s a bit spicy and so yum. Wash it down with a cup of coffee or a cup of freshly squeezed juice and you’re set for the day. Final words: if you are in the area and want a quiet place to have a lovely meal, definitely try La Manche.

Their English Breakfast was simple but so good. Tasted like a home-cooked meal and service was great. Prices were good, too. My friend and I left very satisfied and full.

Had breakfast here and considering it’s a small place with limited cooking facilities and staff, they do pretty well. Very unsuspecting from the outside, but worth popping in for some fresh juice. The eggs benedict wasn’t great, but the scrambled eggs with chorizo and halloumi & toast was quite good. Coffee was ok as well. Staff were very nice and lovely. Would go back to try out some lunch stuff.

We’re 5 hungry persons looking to brunch in London on a Sunday. The classic spots(Breakfast Club, Lantana…) in the neighborhood were overcrowded. My stomach was yelling and crying at me, so I ended up in front of this small restaurant where I read«Breakfast served: eggs, bacon, sausage». The shop looked nice, but nothing special, only a few chairs and only 2 customers inside. One of my friends said«Let’s try it out, you can’t go wrong with eggs and bacon» Well, I’m really glad we did give it a try. This place is simply a little treasure. Not as well known as its rival in front Lantana, but clearly as precious, or even more. The lady in charge this day was just really really nice. Her colleague called in sick for the day and she did everything perfectly to make us feel good and make sure we didn’t wait too long. They’re a lot of breakfast choices, omelettes and great freshly squeeze juices combo ! MUSTTRY Hangover Omelette(with chorizo and chilli), beware it’s a bit spicy, but really tasty! La manche homemade granola(you can ask with a smile, for some extra berries!) The recovery angels juice(pineapple and mixed berries) For takeway ask for the best seller: chicken, avocado, haloumi, chorizo sandwhich ! MONEYMONEYMONEY Breakfasts are around £4−7 pounds Juices cost £3 You can get extras in your breakfast for £0.50 to £1.50 WELOVE — The freshly squeezed juices! — The extras! I always crave for extra bacon or chorizo in my breakfast — The kindness of the lady working here Overall, I know I’ll definitely come back. There’s no queuing, no overpriced food, no snobby staff, just kindness and amazing food.

I think La Manche is a seriously under-rated Fitzrovian breakfast spot. The ladies that run this place are amazing! They are so hospitable I felt like I was visiting someone’s home for a meal. Sited opposite the notorious Lantana, you will only be paying a fraction of the price for lovingly prepared breakfast fayre such as baked eggs with tomatoes and cream, home-made granola drizzled with honey, yoghurt and prune juice, a range of cooked breakfast staples, omelettes, grilled vegetables and haloumi… The will even let you customise the menu to your tasting. The range of freshly squeezed juices is delectable. They even prepared us a pot of fresh mint tea upon request. The cakes and other treats are also all home prepared and very tasty, it is hard to leave without taking something away for that cheeky afternoon snack… Top service. Top food. Bottom prices. Top spot!

Only discovered this great sandwich-juice-bagel-cake-bar today because the concept of another Pret bored the living daylight out of me. Don’t be fooled by the somewhat bland exterior, it more than makes up for it with great quality food, freshly made in front of you while you can chat with the friendly staff. Moreover, the prices are great for the amount and quality you receive. E.g. I had a mozarella bagel, nicely toasted and filled to the brim for GBP2.50, made by the owner herself — yumm! Strongly recommend if you’re looking for a quick and tasty lunch! PS: Next, I shall try their delicious looking cakes…
