Accosted in the street by the waitress who shoved a menu in our hand. It looked decent so we decided to have lunch here. The waitress gave us no time to decide and came to ask if we were ready 3 times in 2 minutes. Finally we decided on fish and chips. While we waited an eternity, a girl sat, ordered and got her food. No such luck for us! When the meal finally arrived we wished it hadn’t. The fish was dripping with oil and freezer burned into pretty much nonexistence. The chips were also frozen. Tartar sauce was offered in a packet like those of ketchup you get at McDonalds. We went inside to pay only to be told that they don’t take cards. Who doesn’t take cards in central London?! They very I helpfully said there was an ATM at the newsagents. It was out of order(not their fault, to be fair) 2 fish and chips and 2 small bottles of water for £20 + ATM fees. Thanks but no thanks.
