Having an amazing time! After work drinks. Great atmosphere, slow serving, but understandable due to the fact that is really busy!

We stopped in here for a quick lunch in between a training course. With a group of eight we were worried we wouldn’t get in but at 12:30 it was surprisingly empty. I had the hot chicken burger and it was nice but a little dry. The burger itself is pretty big so you might want to share sides instead of getting one yourself. Friends had pulled pork burgers and said they were okay too! When we were getting ready to leave at 1:30 it was really rammed so I’m glad we were able to get in and out so quickly. The service was good and it was a nice place to go for a quick lunch.

LazyBones is a fun kind of place that is hidden not to far off Farringdon station. What’s good about it being hidden? Well, when It’s a hot and sunny day, you’re pretty sure you’ll get a table outside. On the upside: Happy Hour from 5 to 8. Added bonus: the food is damn good. Would definitely recommend for that after work urge.

Food was mediocre but prices OK — so noisy you barely hear yourself think, but the dim lighting is quite good because your interlocutor won’t see the burger crumbs fly from your mouth as you shout at them across your table. Service was quite good.

Just loved the place. Very industrial look, friendly staff Food: Ultimate burger: best value as it come with fries. Tasty. Pull Pork: pork was tasty but the bread was a let down, probably pass on that one Wings: really crispy and tasty. Went for the BBQ sauce which has a nice kick to it but not too spicy. Remove all jewellery as you will get messy, but so worth it!:

Quick glance: + good burgers + lazy lager + nice staff + spacious venue Full review: I came by on a Friday night after a few drinks at a nearby pub, and my friend and I shared their«scooby-doo burger» special which is just naughtily delicious — double burger patties with guacamole, pulled pork, beef brisket and slaw piled high — served with a big basket of skinny fries. At £16.95 a portion it is a little eye-watering, but wickedly good on a Friday night along with a pint of their lazy lager. The staff is really friendly, and the venue is spacious. It isn’t too noisy so you can still hear your friends around the table.

Maybe I feel I’ve been too spoiled with too many good burger places by my boyfriend that I’ve begin to notice little faults within burgers and have developed my own criteria to what a good burger is when before I could have easily gobbled it down without caring much. Sadly Lazybones became one of those places that really let me down when I was expecting a ‘good’ burger. Walking along the same street it was weird to see Byron packed with people but to find Lazybones very much dead, probably didn’t help it was hidden in an alley way. However I did like the layout, very cool, wacky american rock style dining with the sleek leather sofa chairs. It had a good vibe and comfortable sitting. The menu had a really good selection of the popular American fast food stuff such as wings, hot dogs and more unusual burgers such as the Scooby Doo, a two patty burger with pulled pork, beef brisket, cheddar… basically everything they can ever offered in a burger. More used to the patty burgers I decided to try a beef brisket burger, stepping out the usual and wanted to try something new. My boyfriend decided to be more creative with his and ordered the beef burger with added pulled pork and blue cheese. Alongside with that we ordered chips smothered in Monterey Jack Cheese, a portion of Sweet and Spicy wings and two unlimited refills from the self service drinks machine. Our burgers arrived after a reasonable wait. It was nice to see them make it in the open kitchen and presented with the top burger off for you to go crazy with the sauces offered on the table. However things went downhill from there. As great to see them using brioche buns both the burger buns were over toasted and so were too dry and heavy. It was probably was best for the beef brisket burger which was just filled with overcooked beef drowned in the sauce it was cooked in. The burger definitely required other ingredients for a more varied texture, ideally something more firmer or crunchier. It would have also helped balanced the flavour because as well as being too mushy the sauce was also too rich and needed something to balance it out. The beef burger with pulled pork and blue cheese was more successful. Although the bun was still dry it had more texture and flavour going with the softer sweeter pork contrasting with the firmer bouncier burger and the blue cheese just wrapping everything together nicely. The patty itself did lack that quality beef flavour so overall I found this burger very average. We soon made our ways to the wings described as being flavoured with ginger, honey, coriander lime and hot sauce. I realised that the flavours were very strong, very gingery and citrusy. It was an acquired taste and had very strong oriental flavours but the better kind than your usual Chinese takeaway as it had been marinated for two days. What you got was a messy finger lickin experience due to the amount of sauce. The wings itself were very succulent although we wasn’t too sure if they were under cook just a little due to redness towards the bones. Probably not the flavour I would personally go for again but this is just a personal preference as I can imagine someone like my mum who would enjoy them very much. I was glad we ordered the smothered chips as without the cheese the chips would have bland. They lacked no potato or any flavour at all once you went pass the cheese on top. Another disappointment. We had most fun mixing our drinks on the drink machine in the end which felt like a novelty as we still have not been to Five Guys. It is such a shame when you see a restaurant that gets it so right with its décor, staff and it’s menu but fails to deliver on what it serves. To be honest nothing was majorly wrong but nothing was majorly impressive either. It will be hard for Lazybone to compete in the area when they have Byron in the area but if they just step up a notch I’m sure they will be fine.

definitely jumping on london’s now saturated BBQ/American diner food craze… that being said what we had was not bad at all. of course throwing the obligatory brioche bun into the mix doth not maketh the burger however my friend was pretty satisfied. I had the chilli brisket and wasn’t particularly impressed. the fries were good. the beer was decent. i should’ve tried the pulled pork as a real test. worth a look, can’t see it lasting. would’ve given 2 stars but its not that bad at all, even though my review is clearly offering mixed messages.

Looking for that new place to go where the food is horribly unhealthy but amazingly good? Lazybones might be your new favorite place… The menu is a page long, full of American style fare, with dogs, burgers, pulled pork sandwiches, and WINGSWINGSWINGS. I only tried the spicy wings, but the BBQ(and whatever the third kind was) sounded pretty good too. It’ll be hard to stumble upon Lazybones as it’s hidden away in an alley, but it makes for a nice quiet place to eat or have a drink. There’s plenty of outdoor seating both right out front and on the side, so on a hot day(ha! like we get those here…) it’s perfect. And if you’re just craving a nice American beer… you’ve come to the right place. On tap you’ll find Sam Adams, everyone’s favorite Boston lager. There are also a few bottles worth trying, and several wine options, so nobody will stay thirsty for long. The frieds(topped with cheese) weren’t anything to write home about, but they were decent… just didn’t measure up to the wings. So grab a friend(or seven) and head to Lazybones for some wings, a pulled pork or brisket sandwich, and beer it up!
