This is a terrific little spot just off the Camden High Street. The food is excellent, across the board, and the presentation adds to the experience. My lamb was grilled to perfection, served with crisp lettuce and some peperoncinis. We also had a wonderful hot mezze of beans in a savoury sauce. All the ingredients were extremely fresh and the food was spiced to perfection. I look forward to my next visit and the chance to dive more deeply into the menu, which is varied and marvellous. The service is also very friendly and the atmosphere intimate without being claustrophobic. Two reasons for 4 stars rather than 5. First, the prices are a bit high, compared to other restaurants in the neighbourhood. Even a pound or so off the mains and .50p of the mezze would turn it from«a bit dear but worth it» to «we would eat here once a week.» The other reason is that the Lebanese wine, at least the white, was less than impressive, and it was not an especially generous pour. It is in no way Le Mignon’s fault that the best pub in Camden, the Crown & Goose, which used to be across the road, has been torn down and replaced by what looks to soon be hideous modern flats. But I will take this opportunity to curse all heartless property«developers» and say waaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Not long ago I tried the food at Le Mignon. I really like grilled halloumi, so I was happy to find it on the menu. I took it on bread and it was yummy! :) This is another place in Camden that offers really good food. It’s a small, but definitely a good and nice restaurant.

Described to me by an Egyptian as London’s best Arab restaurant. She’s probably right. I like the food so much that I’ve bought the book. Unfortunately, my attempts to make foul medames at home have been less successful than I had hoped so I will have to continue coming to Le Mignon for both takeaways and sit-down meals. For a takeaway lunch, which far too few people seem to take advantage of, I recommend the falafel. If you want to take a seat, a selection of fatoush, hummus(compulsory) and tabouleh will see you right. I had some hard foul medames here once, but apart from that it’s a great restaurant.

Awesome Lebanese restaurant just off Camden High Street. A tiny place that tends to fill up quick, but is nice and casual. Not the cheapest eats, but still less expensive than most other Lebanese restaurants. It’s a good place to bring a few people and share a bunch of starters, a bit like a Middle Eastern tapas. Any wine drinkers will appreciate getting to enjoy a bottle of hard-to-come-by Lebanese wine. Plus they always send you off with a complimentary plate of sweets. No nicer way to end a good meal than with baklava!

This is a great Lebanese restaurant in Camden and the food is very very good. I always end up eating too much but it’s because I insist on having meze, breads, and grilled meat, all of which are delicious. The thyme bread is particularly outstanding, as is the kofte and the fattoush. There is also a cookbook published by the owner which was very well received by reviewers. The service is very good and often you get complimentary baklava at the end of the meal. It’s quite a small place so it’s worth booking if you’re planning to go on the weekend.

This is an excellent little restaurant, away from the main tourist drag of Camden. I was introduced to it by a Lebanese friend of mine who assures me the food is very authentic. The service is great and the décor inviting and unpretentious. But of course the main attraction of any restaurant should be the food and this is indeed the best aspect of this eatery. The food is very well cooked — freshly and lovingly prepared, very tasty and well delivered. The menu is typically Lebanese, which means that alongside the meat dishes, there is a wider variety of vegetarian dishes, which is nice because I can take my vegetarian friends there but not feel that I am missing out myself in any way. The food is great, the service friendly and the prices are very reasonable. My only reservation about recommending it is that it’ll become too popular for me to be able to get a table. Enjoy.
