Cosy and friendly Chinese tea house, serving food over lunchtime. The owner Lily served us, and was very friendly. It was a nice experience.
We got pork chow mein — she asked if we liked spicy, we said yes and it was extremely spicy! Be careful what you wish for. A little bit disappointing selection of teas, for a ‘tea house’ we expected a wide variety of high quality teas, so it didn’t quite meet those expectations.
The décor is very Chinese, wooden tables, decorated with red and gold wall hangings etc. A nice option for food when visiting Merton Abbey Mills.
